Solutions and variability of vertical filters
Roupec, Ladislav ; Hyánková, Eva (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with innovative technical solution of vertical trickle filter systems, which are categorized into the category of natural ways thow to clean water. The actual vertical filters for root cleaners are currently experiencing a boom thanks to the MPO project with the working title Biostream, within which are vertical root systems tested on root cleaner in the village of Kotenčice (involved in pilot conditions). The results show an increased removal of ammonia nitrogen and high efficiency in the elimination of organic pollution BSK5 and CHSKCr. However, the practice may in the future require even higher efficiency that can be solved by small technical innovations and modifications. In connection with the forced aeration of vertical filters is elaborated the methodological part of the thesis, the final result of the work is several regression equations using which it is possible to determine the input of oxygen into the system at a given input parameters (filter size, water flow, air flow, etc.). The results are very useful for a scientific branch because there is not so much available literature for this topic.
Study of Constructed Treatment Wetland Reconstruction for Dražovice Village
Roupec, Ladislav ; Pumprlová Němcová, Miroslava (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The constructed wetlands, which have been being created in the Czech Republic since early 90s, are designed so they do not allow successful removal of ammonia nitrogen. Almost all of these 300 registered constructed wetlands suffer from the colmatage which leads to the lowest effectiveness of treatment in nearly all parameters. The main effort of the Institute of landscape water management is to get rid of bad reputation and to clarify the reason that leads to unsatisfactory conditions of constructed wetlands. The diploma thesis focuses on the selected constructed wetland in Dražovice (850 EO), which removes ammonia nitrogen with the effect just below the limit values in the long term. The pressure of the Morava river basin and Department of environment (Building Authority in Bučovice) has led to the necessity of taking measures leading to the increase of treatment efficiency especially ammonia nitrogen. The diploma thesis includes both, actual project documentation concentrating on the adjustment of watercourse to nitrify ammonia nitrogen, and effective choice of suitable filtration material supported by testing method in situ. The practical part of the thesis deals with the implementation of the technical solution according to the project documentation. The adjustment of the constructed wetland is now nearly before completion. Last adjustments will be taking place during the spring 2017, the final inspection as well as the evaluation of the reconstruction will take place at the end of this year.
Možnosti zlepšení kvality vody v chovu ryb pomocí plovoucích mokřadů - přehledová studie
JINDRA, Tomáš
The bachelor thesis deals with the technology of floating wetlands, which construction could lead to improvement of water quality in fishponds. The aim of the thesis is to describe existing methods of water purification using wetlands with surface and subsurface water flow (root treatment plants). Further, to describe the method of refining in biological treatment reservoirs. One of the main chapters describes the construction of an artificial floating wetland. The cost / function ratio is often emphasized in their construction. However, it is important to mention that not all materials have a positive effect on water quality such as artificial materials. If possible, natural biodegradable materials that are environmentally friendly and often easier to handle with should be preferred. In addition, they are able to decompose in the environment and this can also save the cost of their disposal. In the thesis, a list of suitable wetland plants is proposed, focusing on species that are capable of growth and survival in our climatic conditions. The choice of species also depends on the type of habitat. Due to the low water transparency in fishponds, emergent and floating plant species, such as common reed (Phragmites australis), reed canary grass (Phalaris arundinacea), cattail (Typha spp.), branched bur-reed (Sparganium erectum) and duckweed (Lemna spp.), could be suitable. Nowadays, fishponds are in unsustainable conditions and water quality may become a limiting factor in fish production in the future. Floating wetlands may play an important role in its improvement.

Monitoring of efficiency cleaning medium for printed circuit board
Jelínek, Tomáš ; Řezníček, Michal (referee) ; Buršík, Martin (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis various methods of cleaning and various types of cleaning agents commonly used in electrical engineering are described. In the experimental part cyclic voltammetry is used to measure the current–voltage characteristic of cleaning agent VIGON A 200. The new and the used cleaning agents are compared. Influence of measuring sensors is monitored. At the end of the bachelor thesis obtained data are evaluated and further processing steps for analysis are proposed.
