Unconventional methods of increasing power of internal combustion engines
Smrček, Martin ; Pech, Ondřej (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
Nowadays the most common method for increasing the performance of internal combustion engines are most used chip tuning or expanding presence of ethanol. The aim of this thesis is to perform a basic analysis of the thermodynamic cycle internal combustion engines, various effects on the thermodynamic efficiency and performance and analyze various methods to additionally increase the performance of the engine. The following are the principles of the analyzed methods, advantages and disadvantages, compared to the methods used in terms of use, price / performance ratio, as well as practical application examples.

Present Trends is Power Increasing of CI and SI Engines
Slovák, Jan ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is only the search character. In this thesis are described different types of engines, also are discussed the most common types of supercharging engines – by compressor and turbocharger. Along with them are showed less known methods of supercharging. At next chapter, thesis describes another possible methods of increasing of engine power like chiptuning etc. Last chapter is about near future and describes for example engine downsizing and hybrid cars.

Modifikace datových polí elektronických regulátorů spalovacích motorů
Klein, Jaromír
The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to find regulation parameters for combustion car engines and their modification through the electronic control unit. First part of this thesis presents theoretical view into the subject. Second part of this Thesis is focused on the findings of the engine parametres itself after software adjustment of data memory fields in the electronic control units and the measuring of the torque on the dynamometer at the Mendels university and monitoring the outcoming signals going out of the electronic control unit connected to diagnostic software by OBD II cabel. Final part of my thesis deals with evaluation of parameters obtained from the measured data that are represented by table and graphs.
