This thesis deals with purchasing management in the construction industry and the relationships between suppliers and customers. In the theoretical part are defined basic trade relations, selection and method of evaluation of suppliers, their mode of communication and thoroughly described outsourcing and insourcing. The practical part is a collection of several purchasing activities presenting the advantages of long-term relationships with suppliers customers. Preference is assessed on the basis of time and financial savings.

This diploma thesis elaborates project documentation for building a timbered family house including details and technical description, thermal technical assessment of cladding composition and technical preparation of building, which is needed for realisation. The timbered house is designed to have two-floors including residential attic and to be covered with sloping roof. The thesis deals with preparation of reconstruction for realisation from perspective of the technical preparator. The preparation of price offers on major building industry, associated construction production and determination of final price of the contract including additional budgetary costs.
