This bachelor's thesis deals briefly with the personality of prof. PaedDr. Jiri David, CSc., Art Education theoretic and pedagogue. It presents his personality via biographical method, which is explained in text. The work possesses the interviews from Grandfather's surroundings. The personal memories from my childhood are also described in the work. The didactic part is mainly focused on the topic of children's art and creativity related to Art Education. The objectives of the Framework Educational Plan (FEP) are taken into account here. The practical part of the thesis includes cycle of pencil drawings inspired by photographies from Grandfather' s life, large-format drawing with plant motifs and model of the author's book. This bachelor thesis flows with the topic of how special grandfather could be. It is written by me as fascinated granddaughter. The work describes the relationship in the family with the person who evolves and enriches his surroundings. Its importance could be seen in the individual imagination of the art education progress. His influence is also one of the main topics to be told. This work is about expanding his legacy. The sense of the writing should be to remind and actualize his work and to open discussion about creativity. The other part is dedicated to memories and its words. It is pictured by some situations of spending our time together. Drawings are also important as some kind of evidence of growing up with my grandfather. Significant role is played by a lots of his colleauges who depict in his life. The aim of the book is to refresh his opinions and call up the idea of human beings living in sociocultural contexts. Use of Autobiographical Motifs in Works of Edgar Dutka, Eliška Vlasáková and Antonín Bajaja

The work confronts prosaic pieces with noticeable autobiographical features. It deals namely with works of Edgar Dutka, Eliška Vlasáková and Antonín Bajaja. It was not a coincidence to choose right these three Czech authors. They have quite a few features in common. They all belong to the same generation. They are born in the 40's of the 20th century, so they have spent an essential part of their lives (childhood, adolescence and substantial part of their working age) in the second half of the 20th century - in the time of political convulsions and social changes. A childhood spent during this period has become their common literary theme. They all make their memories a literary piece. Each of them does it in a different way and with a different amount of accuracy. Their inspiration comes from their real life, from their memories. The next common feature of these three authors is that they all wrote some of their texts without a vision to make them public. They wrote them for themselves. Book editions were carried out after the year 2000. Last but not least mutual fact is that all of these three authors have been nominated for a prestigious literary price. Guy Erismann and his role in Czech-French cultural relations in music

The master thesis "Guy Erismann and his role in Czech-French cultural relations in music" focus on Erismann's activities which propagated the Czech music in France in 1960-2007. Guy Erismann was an expert whose aim considered in raising French public awareness of the Czech musical heritage. Furthermore, the interest of the French society in Czech composers was noticed not until the 1960s. The thesis analyses if the activities of Erismann contributed to promoting the Czech music in France and if yes, what kind of contribution it was. The research uses the biographical methodology concentrating on Erismann's personality, knowledge, official post, network of personal contacts and reputation. All research criteria represent intangible capabilities of an individual actor in international relations. Regarding Erismann's personality, he was able to overcome the mistrust and even political divergences between Czech and French environment. Consequently, he achieved to establish a cooperation with Czech representatives of communist and afterward democratic regime. He wrote five books relating to the Czech music that became to be one of the most crucial resources about the Czech composers in France. Valéry Giscard d'Estaing and Great Britain

The bachelor's thesis "Valéry Giscard d'Estaing and Great Britain" deals with the French- British bilateral relations during the period 1974-1981 when VGE held the post of the French President. At that time the cooperation between Paris and London gained the new dimension because of the admission of the United Kingdom to the European Economic Community in 1973. Afterwards the bilateral relations became closer than during previous decades which could be illustrated by the implementation of annual bilateral summits since 1976. In the context of the French-British bilateral cooperation the paper focuses on the personality of VGE and answers the question if VGE's family environment and traditions were positive about the Anglo-Saxon states or not and if his family background could have influenced his attitude to the UK during his septennat. Consequently, the study applies the biography method. The first part of the bachelor's thesis analyses the French-British bilateral relations in 1958-1981 putting emphasis on personal preferences of French Presidents. The second chapter deals with VGE's family background and examines its influence on his attitude to Great Britain.
