Battery Systems for Distribution Networks
Filip, Robin ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is focused on problematics of battery storage systems in distribution network. The thesis introduces methods of electrical energy storage with emphasis on battery storage systems. It also deals with possibilities of using these systems in the network. Additionally, an overview of current and planned projects with a description of the legislative environment of the area in the Czech Republic is included. The practical part deals with the design of battery storage capacity regarding to development of power consumption, electromobility as well as photovoltaics.
EV smart charging and BESS in increasing the PV hosting capacity of distribution networks
Filip, Robin ; Lehtonen, Matti (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
Diplomová práce se zabývá dopadem nabíjení elektrických vozidel a bateriových úložišť na schopnost distribučních sítí nízkého napětí absorbovat fotovoltaické systémy. Převážně venkovské, příměstské a převážně městské regiony s různými stupni penetrace nekontrolovaně i kontrolovaně nabíjených elektromobilů jsou analyzovány Monte Carlo simulacemi. Hostingová kapacita je také analyzována, jestliže jsou elektrická vozidla jak nahrazena, tak doplněna domácími bateriovými úložišti. Práce je zakončena krátkou analýzou využitelnosti BESS.
Power Systems Ranges of Main Parameters
Řehořek, Tomáš ; Gála, Michal (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with description of the power system, parameters of it’s components and the range of outputs and consumption. In the first part the structure of the power system is described as well as the fundamental division of electric grids. In this part the work also touches on the ways of supllying the elctric traction. Furthermore the amount of production and consumption is mentioned. In the second part this work focuses on description of selected components of the power system and their real parameters. Furthermore the work also touches on the matter of electromobility and battery energy storage systems. In the last part of this work a few simple methods of consumption estimation are presented. This work also includes two infografics, that describe the power system.
