Design and Implementation of Virtual ATM

The bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a virtual ATM. The concept comes from a historical machine called Sensorama, one of the oldest virtual reality systems. It is used to mediate common banking operations and functions of a physical ATM through virtual reality. The work analyzes the existing solution of the client's relationship with the bank on the basis of which it implements a virtual environment. Specifically a functional ATM and an interactive bank branch. Everything happens remotely via the Neos metaversion interface. The concept takes full advantage of the interactive features of virtual reality, helping the user to better understand each banking process. The thesis examines the attitude of real banks to the concept itself, the feasibility of individual banking operations and the conditions of public use.

The role of banks in the Czech monetary policy transmission mechanism

Objective of this work is to enrich the knowledge about the monetary policy transmission mechanism in the Czech Republic with empirical evidence on the impact of monetary policy on bank lending. Using a panel of quarterly time series for Czech commercial banks for the period 1996–2001, it studies the overall effect of monetary policy changes on the growth rate of loans and the characteristics of the supply of loans.

Směnka a možnosti jejího využití v operacích českých bank

Práce se soustřeďuje na zmapování vývoje směnek a jejich užití v bankovnictví České republiky, a to nejen na úrovni obchodních bank (směnečné úvěry, forfaiting, produkty exportního financování - dokumentární akreditivy a inkasa, depotní a depozitní směnky), ale také České národní banky (úvěry na zástavu směnek, eskont exportních směnek, reeskont směnek).

Analýza projektu Detekce podezřelých bankovních operací

Diplomová práce analyzuje a hodnotí interní projekt bankovní společnosti, v rámci něhož byl implementován softwarový balík na podporu detekce podezřelých bankovních operací. Povinnost bránit legalizaci výnosů z trestné činnosti je dána zákonem a finanční instituce mohou tuto povinnost realizovat různým způsobem. Práce též hodnotí projektové řízení v bance a úroveň jeho vyspělosti. Zjištěné nedostatky jsou podkladem pro doporučení bance a návrhy na budoucí opatření.
