Using of automatic in home for document manipulation
Němeček, Ladislav ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with means of using automation for manipulation and processing of different kinds of documents in the home. It describes the current state of manipulation and processing of physical and digital documents and the automation of their management and usage. The thesis showcases currently available technologies dealing with digitalization and automation of modern living and the concept of the smart home. It proposes appropriate automatic computer solutions and suggests appropriate software and procedures for automatic processing of text and other household documents.
Wireless Control of Electronic Devices Using Mobile/Embedded Device Using WiFi
Marek, Petr ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to design and implement an automated home system using Wi-Fi. The whole system was built on the Raspberry Pi and ESP8266 platforms, CoAP was chosen as the communication protocol. The resulting solution works in the local network and also over the Internet. It includes the use of several types of sensors and the ability to control the outputs of the ESP8266 modules. The system supports simple automation based on values of sensors and set timers.
Design of a GUI for Home Control for the Elderly
Válek, Lukáš ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Fučík, Jan (advisor)
This work focuses on the problems with the design of software for the elderly and ways to solve them. Furthermore, a design of a control interface for smart homes, which takes these problems into account, was done. The process of the design is described and reasons for the decision that are made are given. Following is a description of the implementation of the proposed interface and its testing on a targeted group of users. The work also outlines a possible extension of the interface for further use.
The Internet of Things in Practice
Bajgl, Vojtěch ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis, is the Internet of Things, and its use in applied practice, with a subsequent design of a custom system of smart home automatization. It acquaints the reader with the issues of automated home and smart systems, including a basic familiarization of regulations as declared by law about electronic devices. The attributes of miniature computer platforms, developmental boards, and wireless modules for the design of custom systems are analyzed and compared. The biggest part of the thesis is dedicated to a design of a custom system, specifically designing the central processing module and other controlling modules for controlling various electric home appliances. The main controlling unit of the system is a Raspberry Pi 2B unit, with which it is possible to control a device in a household through an user-friendly web application.
Proposal of electronic security system with intelligent home elements
Kůtka, Michal ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with an electronic security system for the protection of the family house. This bachelor thesis was commissioned by ULIMEX, spol. s r.o. for the purpose of summarize information and expanding the range of products the company mainly components for smart home and home automation. Bachelor thesis contains a theoretical introduction to electronic security systems. In detail there is described norm ČSN EN 50131-1 ED.2 that defines the various security division, but also the requirements for the security system. Part of the thesis was conducted exploration of the Czech market and compared to the biggest rivals of security system Jablotron 100. In this thesis is described in detail the security system Jablotron 100 along with their components to ensure safety, as well as components for the implementation of solutions in the smart home and home automation. Part of the thesis is also the project documentation of the design of electronic security system for the house of the new generation, which is included in the Annex I and Annex II to this document.
Intelligent house for elderly people
Piši, Daniel ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Mehrdadi, Bruce (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá systémem automatizace domácnosti umožňujícím ovládání domácích spotřebičů prostřednictvím běžné televize. Systém využívá standardu X10 a bezdrátové technologie ZigBee.
Sub-sections of cost-effective building automation
Holoubek, Lukáš ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is a building automation in which the circuits are controlled by a single-board computer Arduino and the entire system is operated by a mobile phone. The theoretical part describes a single-board computer Arduino, its parts, functions, capabilities and communication with it. In the practical part, the controlled circuits are described, implemented and a functional model of a house is created. The model of the house practically demonstrates behavior of the controlled circuits simultaneously with a possibility to manage and influence the system using a mobile phone.
Home automation on the Arduino platform using the cloud
Hadaš, Jakub ; Poliščuk, Radek (referee) ; Holoubek, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a smart home where the individual components are controlled by a single board computer, namely Arduino and ESP8266. The whole system can be controlled and monitored via the cloud through a mobile application. The theoretical part provides an insight into the Arduino single board computer and its features, smart home principles and communication protocols for smart home. The practical part includes the implementation of the individual components and the creation of a functional model of the home that effectively demonstrates the control and management process, with the ability to monitor and control the system remotely via a mobile app.
