Earth´s shape and its atmosphere effects on operation of navigation aids
Korbel, Martin ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to explore and describe the effects and consequences of the Earth’s shape and its atmosphere on land and on-board radio equipment used in aviation. This thesis contains the description of these influences affecting the whole spectrum of electromagnetic waves used in aviation communication, navigation and air traffic control. It also explains specific forms of effects of the Earth’s shape and its atmosphere on individual devices, which are most commonly used in civil air navigation.
Modelling of the disperion properties of the atmosphere in vertical and slant direction
Holub, Josef ; Látal,, Jan (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the propagation of the optical beam through the Earth's atmosphere in the vertical and oblique directions. The work describes the properties of the Earth's atmosphere and parameters of atmosphere and its effects on the propagation of the optical beam, especially the optical dispersion. As part of the work, a model of optical beam propagation through the atmosphere was created in two versions, script and user-graphic. The model was created in the MATLAB environment and allows to draw the profile of the refractive index of the environment for the specified wavelength of radiation, it contains other graphical and numerical outputs.

Integration of Natural Science Lesson and its Implementation in Secondary School
Kipor, Michael ; Hlaváčová, Lucie (advisor) ; Brůnová, Linda (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the integration of natural science lessons. It also deals with opinions and attitudes of 6th grade students and their parents/representatives about this type of education. First part describes history and present situation of integrated education, educational curriculums on national and school basis, subject didactics of science subjects and its didactic transformation in Czech Republic and abroad. Part of the diploma thesis forms a description of realization of integrated education on lower secondary school. There is also shown an example of educational topic with possible curriculum connection in one school grade. Second part is formed by a research which shows approach of students and their parents/representatives to integrated education. Interview method with further analysis was used for collecting results. In conclusion, results have shown that responders have very positive approach and opinions about integrated education. The Earth Atmosphere and Astronomical Observations
ZBEJVALOVÁ, Jana
This work has the task outline view of the astronomical observations, not only in the Earth's atmosphere, but also in the far space. It provides a brief overview of the first optical devices to the latest space observatory. It also deal with the impact of anthropogenic and light pollution on astronomical observations.
