Art provides the possibility of specific and multilateral influences on the personality development of preschool children. This work aims to instruct, through creative development techniques, ways to achieve the pre-defined pages of childrens' personalities in kindergarten during one school year. There have been positive changes in cognitive and emotional levels concerning the development of social relations, and also the deepening sense of personal feelings and ability to express both verbal and artistic creation.
The usage of art therapy while working in a foster family

The thesis describes the educational and incentive program in the field of art therapy focusing on families with children in foster care. The theoretical part covers topics of psychological deprivation, subdeprivation, and attachment; it contains an introduction to art therapy and deals with the process of artistic expression and the ontogenesis of artistic expression. It maps the forms of substitute parental care in the Czech Republic. The practical part describes the experience with foster parents and their children. The author focuses on artistic creation in the entire family, and uses it as a nonverbal alternative to communication. The thesis explores and structures different approaches. The conclusion and summary presents practical findings useful for therapists and other professionals.
Selection of the Art Techniques for Pre-scool Age

The bachelor thesis ?Choice of Art Techniques at Preschool Age? deals with the practical usage of suitable art techniques at an age-mixed group of preschool children. The first chapter concentrates on the characteristics of the preschool age (of a preschool child) from the developmental point of view and furthermore, on child?s needs. The second chapter concentrates on the Framework Education Programme for Preschool Education in terms of aims of the preschool education and on the education fields concerning art activities. The third chapter is devoted to child?s art expressions and symbology of a child?s drawing. This part includes opinions of several personalities of a child?s art expression and it is also concentrated on art skills expected at the end of the preschool age. The fourth chapter acquaints with the division of art techniques and their description. The listed attachments are accompanied with a practical part, which simultaneously serves as inspiration for further art creation with children.
