Creating programs for teaching signal and image processing
Novotný, Luděk ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the problém of creating interactive JAVA applets. The practical part of work consist of desing, development and debugging four applets. The first one clearly explains the issue of phasor theory, the second one shows frequency filtering of audio signals, the third one demonstrates artificial coloring of grayscale images and the fourth one creates Huffman code from input text. The theoretical part describes the JAVA language, advantages of applets and theory, which relates to particular applets.
Interactive Java applet used for 3D optic nerve head visualization
Šikl, Jaroslav ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Peter, Roman (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design and implement the interactive Java applet used for topography 3D optic nerve head visualization. Primary purpose of the 3D vizualization is ophthalmology, especially for diagnosis of glaucoma. More over should serve as a training material, which enables to study the transformation of 2D figures to 3D model and to test the effects of adjustments and regulations to imaging of the model in 3D space. Two program versions were designed in this work using the development system NetBeans version 5.5. Their final realization is implemented as .html application working in web browser window. First version of the designed applet is simple intuitive application with several default settings, so that the figure is opened automatically to 3D model. Subsequently, the applet enables to set the size of the image, 3D depth of the image, smoothing of the surface and selection of monochrome or coloured image. The second version is the extension of the first version of the designed applet, and provides the possibility to display x, y, z axis, depiction of the 3D model surface by dots, curves or grid, and illumination of the surface. Software was tested on available topographic data acquired by HRT equipment and in different web browsers. Technical documentation and user’s manual are also involved in this thesis.
SIP client in Java
Zukal, Martin ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a design of a client-based application with the utilization of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The first part describes SIP with an emphasis on basic concepts. Then a brief description of the Java programming language which will be used for the implementation follows. The most extensive part is devoted to the description of a design and implementation of the application. Some techniques used during the development of the applicaton are being discussed in this part. The thesis is finished up with test scenarios verifying functionality of the application.
Interactive web applications for support of teaching signal processing
Mašek, Petr ; Rajmic, Pavel (referee) ; Záviška, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of processing one-dimensional signals. Five interactive web applications have been created in JavaScript to support teaching. These are applets that relate to the following topics: rational number resampling of the discrete signal, mean and root mean square signal values, discrete linear and circular convolution in 1D, and discrete cross correlation. The thesis introduces each topic by a theoretical foreword, followed by description of implementation and user interface of the created applications and further there is a commentary on the development and testing of applets.
Education-supporting interactive applets
Korbel, Jakub ; Mekyska, Jiří (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor theses is focused to the support of education in branch of image processing. The teoretic part deals with mathematics view to this problematic. The pratical part is focused to creating of web applets (tools for supporting of education) - applets Gamma correction, Rate shape, Bit plane, Numeric minimization convex function.
Interactive applets supporting teaching digital image processing
Křivánek, Jiří ; Mangová, Marie (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of applications for support of education computer graphics. The aim is to create a simple application which will show the functioning of the various methods. I implemented convolution methods for image filtering, dithering engaged in the distribution errors, bit planes that show each bit plane image, gamma correction to lighten or darken the image and procedural textures. All these methods are created in the form of Java applets.
Web-Based Demo of Fourier Transform for Signal Processing Courses
Hyrš, Martin ; Plchot, Oldřich (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a program demonstrating the Fourier transform. The introductory section summarizes the theory of Fourier transform and shows the procedure for its numerical approximation. The following chapter describes the existing applets. Subsequently, the concept of the demonstration and its implementation are described. The final part contains tutorial examples of using the application and summary of users' reactions.
Implementation of modern hash functions
Trbušek, Pavel ; Sobotka, Jiří (referee) ; Stančík, Peter (advisor)
Master's thesis analyses modern hash functions. The requirements for these features and briefly outlined some of the types of attacks are given in the first part. The second part focuses on the specication Skein hash function, which is among the candidates for the new SHA-3 standard, and a description of the JCOP platform, which is a function implemented. In the last part of the work there are discussed implementation problematic parts and evaluation of the selected solution.
Interactive software tools for teaching copmuter-aided typesetting
Láska, Samuel ; Lambertová, Petra (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis will deal with the description of canon of page and its parameters. It will explain its construction and speci?cation of its di?erent rules. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to create interactive Java applets displaying canons of page and to display the optical centre of page. Applets provide a tool to understand problem areas of typesetting and design of document.
Interactive web applications for education of color theory
Koroleva, Anfisa ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of interpretation of colors and color images in computer graphics. Specifically, the work is focused on the development of simple web applications – applets that will serve for interactive submission of methods used in the field of computer processing of color images. The created applets should demonstrate the relevant theory relating to color mixing in different color models, conversion of a color image to a gray-scale image, conversion of a gray-scale image to a false-color image, conversion of physical light into CIE XYZ and L*a*b* color spaces. The first part of the thesis describes the theoretical basis for the required applets. The following practical part is dedicated to the process of implementing the applets using JavaScript and HTML.
