Quality of hydrophobic domains in polyelectrolyte-surfactant system
Holínková, Petra ; Vala, Martin (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis were studied the photophysical properties of four fluorescent probes depending on the viscosity of their surroundings by the fluorescence spectroscopy. For probes DPH, DPB a perylene was determinated dependence of fluorescence anisotropy and for P3P dependence of ratio excimer/monomer on the viscosity of the sample. Anisotropy probes DPH and perylene were also used to study interaction between hyaluronan and cationic surfactant CTAB (concentration below CMC) in aqueous solution and 0,15 M NaCl. Information about forming hydrophobic domains were obtained by measurement of fluorescence intensity and anisotropy depending on the concentration of CTAB in the sample. It was found that in an aqueuos solution, after the initial addition of CTAB to hyaluronan formed small hydrophobic domains linked to chain of hyaluronan. Increasing concentration of CTAB leads to the formation of gel and phase separation. After addition of NaCl leads to reorganization of this system and probably the formation of free micelles in the solution with higher concentration of CTAB.
Microviscosity probes in study of aggregation in a biopolymer-surfactant system.
Vašíčková, Kamila ; Vala, Martin (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
The effect of cationic surfactant concentration and ionic strength on anisotropy of fluorescence of probes diphenylhexatrien and fluorescein has been investigated in the system of cationic surfactant and in the system of cationic surfactant and hyaluronan. The investigation has been done by fluorescence emission spectroscopy. Obtained anisotropy gives information about microviscosity of investigated systems. Subsequently the system of cationic surfactant and hyaluronan has been investigated by 9-(2-carboxy-2cyanovinyl)julolidine, 4-(dicyanovinyl)julolidine and 1,3-bispyrenylpropane probes. The information about the microviscosity of the system gives the integral under the emission curve of 9-(2-carboxy2-cyanovinyl)julolidine and 4-(dicyanovinyl)julolidine and the ratio between excimer and monomer of 1,3-bispyrenylpropane. It has been discovered that the ionic strength influences the anisotropy of diphenylhexatrien and fluorescein only in the fist addition of salt (concentration 0,025 mol dm-3) and that addition of hyaluronan influences the anisotropy of diphenylhexatrien and fluorescein only in samples without addition of salt. Results of measurment with 9-(2-carboxy2-cyanovinyl)julolidine and 4(dicyanovinyl)julolidine describe the formation of aggregates of catinoc surfactant with hyaluronan and characterize these aggregates from the point of microviscosity.

This thesis with the numerical modeling and assessment has been carried timber roof structure of the gymnasium hall of the elementary school TGM at Bílovec. The study was realized in program system ANSYS. They are created a variety 2D and 3D numerical models which are assessed according to current normative regulations.
Ultrasonic characterization of CFRP anisotropy
Kling, M. ; Tokar, Daniel ; Převorovský, Zdeněk
In the paper, a new method for evaluation of CFRP (carbon fiber-reinforced plastic) anisotropy is presented. Such material is composed of carbon fabric, i. e. epoxy layers with different orientation, which makes material stronger and lighter. These specific properties are generally used in aerospace and automotive industry. Measurement method is based on a special multi-directional ultrasonic probe with eight built-in piezoceramic elements used for elastic wave propagation measurement. CFRP anisotropy evaluation is twofold: the first method is based on determination of the wave propagation velocities in different directions. The second way exploits the spectral non-linearity between harmonic frequencies’ ratios and signal amplitude, which is an important parameter for defects’ detection in NDT (non-destructive testing). Both experimental data were statistically validated and the obtained results are promising for further use in the field of research and industry.
In-vivo Mapping of Human Skin Anisotropy Using Multi-directional Ultrasonic Probe
Tokar, Daniel ; Hradilová, Jana ; Převorovský, Zdeněk
In this paper, investigation of anisotropic behavior of forearm and back skin tissue is presented. Knowledge in this research field is of great interest mainly in dermatology, plastic surgery and regenerative therapies. Anisotropy characteristics of the skin are determined by ultrasonic wave propagation velocity using special multi-directional flexible ultrasonic probe, which enables local investigation of skin anisotropy in vivo. Assessing data, obtained from local measurements of human back, enables visualization of anisotropy map of the back skin tissue. Findings in current state of human skin anisotropy using the multi-directional ultrasonic probe provide an easy method to evaluate the local anisotropy of inter-individual skin tissue.
The effect of anisotropy and mineral composition on phase transformation and rock thermal expansion
K analýzám byly vybrány a dále testovány 3 geneticky odlišné typy hornin : pískovce, mramory a žuly.
Wave propagation in 3D anisotropic media with cubic symmetry
Červ, Jan
Harmonic wave propagation in an anisotropic medium with cubic symmetry is studied in the paper. First of all, the general relation for phase velocities and polarizations vectors of qL and qT waves having wave vectors in planes {1 0 0} have been derived. For a general direction of wave vector in turns out that the best way to get the solution is numerical solution based on Matlab.
Interpretation of the false roots in the dispersion curves of thick plates
Hora, Petr ; Červená, Olga
This paper deals with the interpretation of the false roots appearing in the numerical computation of thick plate dispersion curves from isotropic or anisotropic materials. The examples of false roots, the reasons of their occurrence, the possibilities of their detection and removing are presented here. Dispersion curves are computed for steel and the unidirectional composite.
