The Bachelor's Thesis "Assessing economic development of the company Clasic Cotton Ltd" aims to evaluate the financial health of the company through the economic analysis. The analysis is developed over a period of five years, from 2009 to 2013. The theoretical part describes the chosen methods of the analysis. The practical part is first introduced by Clasic Cotton Ltd. and subsequently analyzed in its environment. Among the methods used include - absolute indicators, ratios , pyramid decomposition Du Pont, economic value added, bankruptcy models and more. In conclusion, the analysis results are summarized and on their basis the development of the company is evaluated.

The main point of my thesis is the analysis of predicative ability of balance sheet within statement of balances. Next point of my work is the concentrating on deficiencies in predicative ability of balance sheet in relation to faithful and honest picture. In the theoretical part is describe balance sheet, characteristics of particular items of assets and liabilities and financial analysis. The last section of theoretical part is about creative accounting. Creative accounting is manipulation with accounting data.

Má bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních kapitol- teoretická část je věnována postupu při finanční analýze, popisu základních finančních výkazů (rozvahy, výkazu zisku a ztráty, cash flow), výpočtu poměrových ukazatelů a ukazatele EVA. V neposlední řadě tato část zahrnuje výpočet ukazatele CAGR (Compoud Annual Growth Rate) a jeho význam pro finanční plánování, které na finanční analýzu v praxi běžně navazuje. V praktické části aplikuji probranou teorii na firmě Techkon s.r.o., včetně výpočtu poměrových ukazatelů a ukazatele CAGR.

Bakalářská práce obsahuje finanční analýzu společnosti Rudolf Jelínek, a.s. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Praktická část zjišťuje a hodnotí finanční situaci podniku podle rozborů rozvahy, výkazů zisků a ztrát, bilančních pravidel, rozborů zadluženosti, rizik, analýzy pracovního kapitálu a dalších ukazatelů. Také obsahuje srovnání s oborem. Práce vychází z let 2001-2005.
