Registered partnership and its influence on the formation of families

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to define the issue of the registered partnership of homosexuals, including the problems related to the issue, focusing on the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is devoted to homosexuality, followed by registered partnership itself including the process of legislative formation of the registered partnership law and rights and obligations among partners in the Czech Republic. The part also deals with models of registered partnerships in the European Union and the opportunities offered to registered partners in terms of child care. The practical part deals with the processing and evaluation the data, obtained through a questionnaire survey. Chi-square analysis of the independence test for the four-pane table was used in addition to descriptive data analysis. The practical part of the thesis also deals with the data evaluation from the 2011 Population and Housing Census and the data provided by the Gay Initiative web portal.
Options in Sharing Childcare within Family Support

1 Abstract The diploma thesis deals with three innovative models of childcare. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The object of the work is to inform about innovative child care models and to map the implementation possibilities of one described model. The theoretical part deals with the theme of family and its importance for the society. The disorders of family, reasons for child removals out of family, prevention of family failures and family preservation are farther described in this part. Other chapters are focused on already mentioned three models of care. The first model describes sharing care within providing support of volunteers, the second model inheres in sharing care within the residential care and the last model describes the sharing care within care provided by foster parents. The practical part addresses the research which was undertaken as semi-structured dialogs with social workers of foster parents and with foster parents too. A part of the research is formed by the analyse of reasons for child removals out of family. It was found out within the research that the implementation possibilities of sharing care within care provided by foster parents are low with regards to its demandingness and the general settings of our society.
Role of non-governmental sector in the field of alternative child care in the Czech Republic

The summary goal of this thesis is to characterize how the issue of alternative child care in the Czech Republic is solved, to characterize the system of alternative child care and it's problematical areas, and also to analyze the role of non-profit organizations in the society generally, and specifically in the solving of issue of alternative child care in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with concept of civil society, with typology of its organizations and their functions in the society, and also with chosen theories which explain functions of non- profit organizations in the society, and also with the history and the present of these organizations in the Czech Republic. Afterwards this theses characterize the system of the care of endangered children in the Czech Republic, the system of the alternative care of children and also contemporary reform of the care of endangered chidren and its important concepts of psychological deprivation of the children in institutional care and of rehabilitation of family. Development of Foster Care in the Litoměřice Region within the Years 2000-2010

This thesis focuses on aspects that affect the process of adopting a child in foster care. The work is divided into two parts. In the first part, we present theroretical issues examined. We define here the basic concepts, we are concerned with factors affecting foster care, describing the process of formation and progress of foster care. The aim of the practical part of the work is to use qualitative research to analyze the process of adopting a child in foster care from the perspective of foster parents experience in the region Litoměřice.
