Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient diagnosed with total knee arthroplasty

v Abstract Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient diagnosed with total knee arthroplasty Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to elaborate the theoretical knowledge on the diagnosis of total knee arthroplasty. Furthermore, to elaborate a case study of a patient with the given diagnosis and to evaluate the effect of used physiotherapeutic methods and procedures. Methods: The case study consists of the initial kinesiological analysis, ten therapies, oucome kinesiological analysis and short-term and long-term therapeutic plans. For the examination and therapies, procedures and methods are used within the scope of knowledge of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy of UK FTVS. All these procedures are non-invasive. At the end of the thesis, the results and effect of the therapies are evaluated and the use of each method and procedure is compared with the literature mentioned in the theoretical part of the thesis. Results: The result of the therapeutic intervention was an improvement in the patient's health condition, achieving full self-sufficiency and, above all, successful elimination of subjective difficulties. v Abstract Author: Kateřina Hartmannová Title: Case study of physiotherapeutical treatment of a patient with total knee replacement diagnosis Objectives: Objectives of the bachleor thesis is processing of physiotherapeutical treatment of a patient with total knee replacement of the right knee joint. At the same time it contains a theoretical processing of the diagnosis, that means gonarthrosis and the total knee replacement. Methods: All of the methods used in the special part of the thesis are based on the bachleor degree program of FTVS. Results: The therapeutic intervention resulted in partial fullfilment of the set goals and improvement of the patient's condition in several parameters. Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with total endoprothesis of the left knee joint Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to process a case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with total endoprothesis of the left knee joint. The case study was made during practise in the CLPA in Prague, based on the theoretical knowledge processed in the first part of the thesis. Methods: The case study consists of initial kinesiological examination, short-term and long- term physiotherapeutical plan, suggestion of therapy, nine described therapeutic units, final kinesiological examination and evaluation of the therapy effects. Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with the Diagnosis of Left Total Knee Replacement

Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with total endoprothesis of the knee joint Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to process a case study of a patient with total endoprothesis of his left knee joint. The case study is based on the theroretical information described in the first part of this thesis. Methods: The case study of particular pacient consists of complex kinesiologic examination at the begining and in the end as well, furthermore, it consists of short-term and long-term physiotherapeutical plan and eight therapeutic units. Finally there is an evaluation of the effects of the therapy. The case study itself was made during practise in the Military Hospital in Prague from 21st January 2020 to 30th January 2020. Results: Patient's range of motion (knee flexion) improved. Muscle strength of hip flexors and knee extensors improved as well.
