Martial arts as a leisure sporting activity

The thesis deals with martial art as a free time activity. It explains the difference between martial art, combat sport and self-defense. It describes the chosen martial arts - kung-fu, taekwon-do, karate, judo, aikido and caopeira. It lists the basic characteristics of individual martial arts and historical development, used fighting styles and techniques. It describes the levels of technical skill and competitive disciplines. It deals with the moral aspect of every martial art, its influence on the psychological and moral side of an individual, pedagogical influence of a master or a trainer on its pupil. The thesis compares the chosen martial arts from the technical, competitive and spiritual side. Martial arts have positive affect on the formation of personality of individual, supports harmony of both spiritual and physical aspect and so they can find suitable application in free time activities.
Technique and methodology of training of Ikeda's kata exercise with jo in aikido

Title: Technique and methodology of training of Ikeda's kata exercise with jo in aikido. Aim: The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe systematically and explain the exercise techniques of kata with jo of Ikeda Sensei on the basis of available resources and the author's personal experience. The author aims to extend the possible forms of study of these techniques through multimedia processing for both professionals and public interested in martial arts. Tasks: To gather the necessary theoretical and practical information and data needed for processing the theme To select and design tools for the elaboration of kata teaching methodology. Practical implementation: to divide kata analytically into sub-parts, to describe these parts and to take their photographic and video record. Create a video on DVD. To elaborate the textual and graphic part of the diploma thesis and to print the final version. Methods of work: The thesis is a theoretical-descriptive in nature and we use these methods for its implementation: Analysis and study of documents. Historical method. Compilation Comparative method. Effect of Aikido to develop fitness abilities and technical skills of the child

Title: Effect of Aikido to develop fitness abilities and technical skills of the child Objectives: Main objective of this work is to discover improving level of conditions exercise group of children for three months. Another objective is to compare progress of technical skills in the same group of children. Methods: For fitness abilities were used normalized tests. For evaluation gained data was used dual t-test and ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). For monitoring technical skills (tumbles and techniques) was used subjective observation. Results: In fitness abilities was confirmed, that age is main part of level of physical power. The older the child, the were powerful. After evaluation of fitness skills wasn't discovered statistically significant difference in the whole of group. Create a file validation exercises to develop coordination and mobility abilities for school age children in Aikido

The aim of this thesis is a creation of exercises for a developement of agility or coordinative abilities and movability for younger school children. This exercises will be test in practise in aikido classes. We assume that there we could see a progress in this abilities after three months of training of agility and movability. Theoretical part contains information about aikido, agility, its characteristics and structure. There are listed also means which can help us to evolve agility abilities. Movability, its characteristics and exercises for its development are mentioned as well. Practical part aims on testing children. We used the method of testing and measurment. Nine tests were used, 7 normalized and 2 specialized. There were 20 children in the tested group at the age from 6 to 11 years old. This bachelor thesis could be an asset for trainers who work with children. The thesis could also bring some recommendations to the practise.

There is a huge expansion of education specialized in martial arts in sport clubs, fitness centres and extra-curricular activities. It is necessary to discover new ways of getting martial arts more popular to raise children?s and youth?s interest in physical education and sport. Gaining knowledge about martial arts and their contribution to human kind gives us other possibilities of fulfilling free time which helps to eliminate the unwanted society-wide negative agents in the youth educational system. Proposal and verification of an educational self-defence programme ? applying the knowledge of Eastern martial arts, personality psychology and didactics of teaching martial arts. Recording video ? multimedia elaboration as a methodical tool for self-defence instructors and psychical education and sport teachers.
Creating a multimedia program for teaching aikido

This thesis deals with designing and creating multimedia tutorial for beginners aikido. The work is divided into a theoretical part, which deals with a brief history of Japanese martial arts, the history of Aikido and its founder Morihei Ueshiba and Aikido general characteristic . The second part is a practical, which deals with constructing educational multimedia program aikido, its software processing, including a description of the content of his work, which is accompanied by photographs of the exercises appearing in the program. Tutorial DVD includes: basic position and movements of the body, stalling and stalling technique training , walking , kneeling , training exercises and techniques for the final version of a technique for the 6th kyu.

Thesis concerns of creation and verification of Aikido basic techniques training programme, which is applied on children attending first to four year of elementary school. Diploma work consists of theoretical and research part and is completed with photographic documentation. Theoretical part of the work covers history, methodology and didactics of Aikido training. This part of the work is further focused on analysis and methodology of fall techniques, which are necessary for managing aikido techniques. Research part of the work concerns on programme application on pupils attending first to four year of elementary school. Lenght of the programme is three months and pupil´s physical ability is after it verified by Eurofit test.\\
