Negative lead electrode for hybrid electric vehicles
Opravil, Petr ; Zimáková, Jana (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This bachelors thesis is focusing on degradational proceses occurring in electrodes of lead-acid batteries working in parcial state of charge used in hybrid electric vehicles. Studied topics include storage of electrical energy, hybrid powertrains and lead-acid accumulators. Experimental cells have been made and were later used in experiments maintaining partial state of charge. This work is focused on finding a link between silanized glass fibres added to the electrodes and lowering the amount of degradation of cells.
Preparation and application of PHA based nanofibres and nanoparticles
Linha, Vojtěch ; Skoumalová, Petra (referee) ; Márová, Ivana (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to summarize basic options of fiber spinning and manufacturing and their usability in industry. Methods of nanofiber spinning are described in the teoretical part, alongside the materials used in experimental part. The experimental part was focused on creating of workflow of defined nanofibers in laboratory enviroment, the possible modification of nanofibers with aditives. The release of aditives from different nanofibers into different enviroments was measured.

The aim tehsesis propose theim position of aditives based on the compilation work. This work, inter alia deals with silage and use of aditives on the quality of silage. The introductory part focuses on theim portance of conservation of livestock feed. Another part deals with the ensiling process with a focus on fermentation and composition of microorganisms that affet the course of the fermentation, either positively or negatively. Theim portant part is the distribution of additives, which are used in silage. There is an emphasis on the quality of these products and their impact on the quality silage. Then extsection identifies the aspects of evaluating the quality of silage. Finally, the work focuses on the use of additives.
Measurement and evaluation of exhaust gas production in selected pig operation and design to reduce them.
PRAŽÁK, Jakub
Limitation of emission ammonia and greenhouse gases is a main assumption in the present time for modification the relation between agriculture and environment. The agriculture influences significantly environment only from point of view of landscape creation but mainly in the three fields, i.e. air, water and soil. Agricultureactivity effects considerably all the three fields and particularly intensive breeding of livestock by it?s by ? products i.e. organic remainders and gaseous emissions also have negative impact onto environment. Agriculture produces up to 90 % of worldwide ammonia products. In European measure the amount of ammonia leakage has to be reduced. One of the perspective technologies is exploitation biotechnological products to moderate exhalation of ammonia and greenhouse gases in surrounding stable, on dump and at the application farmyard manure and slurry.
