Alfred Nobel's dynamite factory in Zámky by Prague during the monarchy and the first Czechoslovak Republic

(English) The thesis concerns itself with the functioning of the concern belonging to Alfred Nobel in Bohemia and other parts of Austria-Hungary. Particularly regarding the inception and operation (range of products, position on the market, health and safety) of dynamite factory in Zámky by Prague and the adjacent factory producing artificial fertilizers in nearby Lísek. Other minor topics include the stance of Austrian authorities towards the new industry, characterisation of individuals connected with the facility, relations with the headquarters of the company in Vienna and the fate of this subsidiary in the successor state of Czechoslovakia. The thesis is set into the period 1868-1926 during which the factory belonged to the concern of Alfred Nobel.
