Conversion of the road I/52 to motorway D52

The aim of the diploma thesis is to propose a modification of the road I / 52 between the junction with the D1 motorway and Rajhrad on the D52 motorway in a way that a continuous highway can be created without the need to create an alternative route over the southern tangent in route Wien-Prague and D2 and also to design routes for transport which cannot enter the highway. The other aim is to define the problem elements and create a variant solution.

The theme of the thesis is life and work of a well-known native of Brtnice, designer architect and professor Josef Hofmann in context with Mid Europe. The first part of the thesis covers the most important periods of his life since his school years in Bohemia (Brtnice, Jihlava and Brno), his studies in Vienna at Otto Wagner´s and his membership in the most important fine arts groups of that time, till a stipendiary stay in Italy. The second part deals with a fundamental architectural building realization and its large part includes the famous period of his designing work in arts and crafts workroom (Wiener Werkstätte) which had been producing applied arts items in an unbelievably wide range from fashion clothing and jewellery to complete housing equipment, group of which is being made till nowadays. The third part consists of making Hofmann´s way of influence upon designering field closer to his bequest in the present. In the last part, dealing with comparison of Hofmann with some contemporary artists, we try to prove timelessness of one of the most famous designers of the first part of the 20th century and to confirm his European crossover.
Marketing communication of galleries, comparing Prague and Wien

The aim of this paper is to confirm a hypothesis:"Marketing communication of galleries in Prague and Wien has similar features becouse of their common development, but marketing communication in Wien has higher quality". This hypothesis was confirmed by comparation of different forms of marketing communication in both cities.
