Residential Rainwater Harvesting
Šumichrastová, Mária ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Wierzbická, Helena (advisor)
The aim of this work is to approach the issue of the use of rainwater in building constructions. This water is widely used for routine activities in the home, which contributes to saving drinking water. At the beginning of my work I focused on what water actually is, and a brief description of each treatment on the basis of their quality. In the first part of about reasons for rainwater management and access to the use of water collection at home and abroad. The second part describes possibilities of application of rainwater in the home. Describes the concept of the need for water, which is essential for the design of the facility. The design of tank is explained in part 3, where I describe the factors affecting the amount of water collected. The following chapters are focusing on individual elements making up the system for the management of rainwater. Chapters are divided according to their function, namely: filter portion, accumulation and a section giving water to the "movement".
Heat pump with accumulation
Pluške, Zbyněk ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
Given bachelor thesis deals with the heat pump and the accumulation of heat energy produced. At first there is a description of the principle of heat pump operation. There are also distinguished types of heat pumps, depending on where taking low heat from. The following chapter deals with the accumulation of thermal energy, and again there is a list of the most popular types. In the next section is given a sample object with a known heat loss, which is calculated for heating and warming TUV. There is also proposed possible transfer of thermal energy from the warm days of heating period in the colder days. At the end, an economic evaluation of the heat pump with heat accumulation is done.
Best available elements for water tanks
Hrubý, Ladislav ; Svoboda,, Miroslav (referee) ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with analysis of particular elements of ground water storage tanks, their comparison and describtion of their characteristic. Basic information of designing volume of accumulation tank is included in the first part followed by a key section where particular construction parts and elements are described. In the next section, new types of water tanks are mentioned. In the final section of this thesis, study of 5 existing water tanks was accomplished. A technical recommendation is summed up in the final part that can be taken into account when constructing a new water storage tank.
