Manufactory of drown flanges on a sheet of high-strength steel
Laštovica, Petr ; Vašík, Ladislav (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
Based on study of documents supplied by PWO Unitools a.s. and on advices of design office staff, tool for forming flanges was designed. This tool was then manufactured and it has been used for carrying test of creating flanges of various diameters from high-strength steels. During these tests, the following parameters were optimized – force of upper and lower blank holder and the height of the main guides. Threads were created into these drown flanges. These threaded joins were later tested for maximum torque and maximum compressive strength.
Influence of hod dip galvanizing on properties of high-strenght steels
Křemen, Jan ; Suchánková, Ivana (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the influence of hod dip galvanizing on properties of high-strenght steel. Galvanizing adversely affects the mechanical properties of high-strenght steel. This paper also examines the influence of hod dip galvanizing at hardness high-strenght steels. The task is to assess how the yield stress can galvanize steel.
Cold Spray coatings on high strength steels
Šesták, Stanislav ; Čupera, Jan (referee) ; Řehořek, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on possible applications of the Cold Spray additive technology in context of high strength steels. The theoretical part of this work represents an extensive research on the topic of Cold Spray technology, showing connections between many of the mechanisms of this technology. This part also focuses specifically on high strength steels, their types, microstructures and properties. The experimental part of this work examines four samples of Cold Spray coatings on a high strength steel. After depositing these coatings, microstructure and microhardness analysis are provided.
Plasma welding of high-strenght steel
Šknouřilová, Eva ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with plasma welding high strength steels. It divided into two parts, the theoretical part described the problems of method plasma welding and welding of high strength steels. In the experimental part of the many exams test the suitability of selected materials and parameters of the keyhole plasma welding. An assessment of the quality and mechanical properties of welded joints.
Welding of USIBOR 1500 steel by YbYAG fiber laser.
Bogar, Radek ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The use of high-strength steel is more and more frequent in the car industry. I focused on USIBOR® 1500 steel welded by Nd-YAG laser. For my experiment, there were used various welding parameters and shielding gases. To compare the weld samples, I used the tensile, bending, macrostructure, microstructure and Vickers hardness test with different combinations of thickness as well as welded material.
Hot dip galvanizing of highstrength steels
Baránek, Tomáš ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the properties of highstrength steels, mainly with their resistance to corrosion. It describes discusses different types of corrosion and the possibility of protecting materials against corrosion. The thesis also evaluates compares the cost of corrosion protection by using coating and hot dip galvanizing. It describes describes the principles of degreasing and pickling, which is used as an adjustment before hot dip galvanizing. It evaluates there are many procedures for hot dip galvanizing, such as wet, dry or spin method, which is used for small parts. This thesis also evaluates the change of mechanical properties of steels: Hardox 500, Weldox 700 and 500 Weldox after hot dip galvanizing.
Robotic welding case of linear fluid motor produced from high-strength steel
Hejduk, Stanislav ; Slováček, Marek (referee) ; Sigmund, Marian (advisor)
The theses deals with the welding of high-strength steels S690 QL using the MAG method. The aim of the work was to conduct a feasibility study for welding VP steels. Welding took place in a robotic workplace. Welding parameters were calculated, and subsequently, a pWPS was created based on these parameters, according to which a test sample was welded. The welding was performed without preheating or post-weld heat treatment. The welded samples were then evaluated using non-destructive and destructive testing. No unacceptable surface defects were detected through non-destructive testing. Destructive testing verified the size of the heat-affected zone (HAZ), with the most significant influence observed in the cover layer, and a value of 2.5 mm was determined. The hardness test according to Vickers also yielded successful results, with the highest measured value being 377 HV0.2. The tensile test resulted in failure within the HAZ, but the mechanical properties were comparable to the base material. Therefore, the weld on the test sample was evaluated as successful.
Moderní výroba kovových dílů používaných v dopravní technice
KOUBA, Matěj
In all branches of human activity there is a certain advance and the development of modern materials and new technological processes in production. This work summarizes this procedure, especially in the field of transport technology. However, conventional production is an important part of modern production, that is why the work is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the conventional production of metal parts, especially materials such as steel and aluminum and conventional methods of forming body parts. The second part provides information on the first, second and third generation of AHSS steels and modern production technologies that have the potential for use in transportation technology. Conventional methods are mainly drawing and pressing. Modern methods in the production of metal parts can be hydroforming, high-speed forming. In recent years, additive production has become very popular, especially 3D printing.
