Comparison of Various Virtualisation Tools for MS Windows
Marek, Jan ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with comparison of virtualisation tools for MS Windows. It describes techniques of virtualization, forms of mesauring computer performance and also benchmarks used to mesauring performance. At the end of this thesis are interpreted results of benchmarks and final comparation tested tools.
Collection of laboratory works for demonstration of computer attacks
Plašil, Matouš ; Ležák, Petr (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes published attacks on computers and computer networks. Principles of footprinting such as availability check, OS detection, port scanning were described. Next part explains attacks on confidentiality, integrity and availability. In the practical part were created four laboratory tasks and a virtual environment which allowed testing of ARP spoofing, DNS spoofing, SSL strip, Cross-site scripting, SQL injection, flooding attacks (TCP, ICMP, UDP), TCP reset and attack on operating system using backdoor with Metasploit framework. In practical part were also created video samples with attacks and documentation for teachers.
Virtualisation tools in theory and practice
Petrbok, Lukáš ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee)
The bachelor thesisi deals with the using virtuliazion on personal computer, where this technology has also use. It defines all possible types of virtualization from emulation after full virtualization. It also characterizes new technology Docker which use software containers. The practical parts evaluates four virtualization platforms for operating system Ubuntu. And it is like after funcitional page, so like primarily after performance page using test focused mainly on performance of central procesing unit, but also on read and write speed on hard disk and operating memory. In the end of work is recommended virtualization platform, but decision is not clear and it depends on user requests.
