Power Converter for the electric DC arc welding
Vranák, Daniel ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The main aim of thesis was produce a draft power converters for DC arc welding, which would be suitable for use in regular service. For the purpose of the proposal, first must be acquainted with the possible methods used converters whose distribution and explain the principle place in beginning thesis. Next it was transferred detailed design of individual components, which was used for the construction of the power part of the welder.
Power Converter for DC Welding
Vranák, Daniel ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The masters thesis was focused on design and realization power converter which should worked as welding machine. It was necessary choose suitable type converter. Next, it was needs design of pulsed transformer, output filter choke and design of semiconductors which were in power part welding machine. It was also designed control and driver circuits. This parts which were used on construct the converter were made and tested too.
Simulation of a 660kW direct drive wind turbine
Hála, Jiří ; Lapčík, Josef (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
V tomto projektu jsou popsány základy problematiky větrných elektráren. V první řadě práce zmiňuje ekomonické aspekty, vývoj větrné energetiky v minulosti a pravděpodobný vývoj v příští generaci, stavbu a možné topologie větrných elektráren.
Applying SolidWorks Flow Simulation for cooling system of the power converter
Matoušek, Patrik ; Vetiška, Vojtěch (referee) ; Dostál, Lukáš (advisor)
Thesis deals with the issue of cooling power converters. It describes the disposition of power converter M50, produced by ELCOM, a.s., and the distribution and origin of heat losses in the converter. The thesis then describes the process of creating a 3D CAD model of the converter in Solidworks and the procedure for heat simulation of the converter in default state and with cooling fan failures using Solidworks Flow Simulation. The thesis then evaluates the results of these simulations, and on their basis it suggests possible improvements in the design of converter‘s cooling system. These improvements are then evaluated in further simulations. The thesis then describes the verification of performed simulations by comparison with a temperature-rise test.
Asynchronous dynamometer - power inverter
Vetiška, Vojtěch ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Klíma, Bohumil (advisor)
This project deals with the power converter for the asynchronous dynamometer. Inside of the document we shall acquaint with claims towards switching transistors and actuators. Furthermore we shall go through the principle and the wiring of three-phase converters and active rectifiers . We specify particular conditions of parameters for the power converter. For these conditions we shall dimension particular elements of the power converter. On the end we shall design the mechanical arrangement of the power circuit and create the design documentation..
