Interpersonal relationships among convicted persons and their families or partners

This bachelor's thesis tries to get through the area of partnerships and family relationships of a person sentenced to imprisonment. The theoretical part defines important findings based on current research from Czech and foreign sources. It deals with these relationships and their contribution to recurrence in terms of their protective or risk factors. The work search for characteristic features on the part of inmates and on the part of families and partners of inmates. It also provides an overview of selected programs and organizations abroad and in the Czech Republic. The research part looks at this issue from two perspectives, from the perspective of selected organizations dedicated to the families of inmates, and from the perspective of selected prisons. The aim of the research is to cover in more detail the important topics of this issue, the research questions try to answer three important areas: the specifics of inmates, especially the relationship with their families and relatives, current practice and space for improvement. It receives answers in the form of qualitative research, in the form of interviews and a qualitative questionnaire.
