Design of NC vise with mechanical force increase
Tejkl, Jan ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with NC vise with mechanical force increase. It aims to design NC vise. It provides an overview of clamping of workpieces. Furthermore, the thesis contains necessary calculations to design of NC vise. It finds critical poins of construction, choice of materials for critical components and designs with CAD software.
A design of pneumatic stationary chuck
Hurtík, Daniel ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the construction of a pneumatic stationary chuck, but it also mentions something in the field of workpiece clamping and machine vices for rotating workpieces. The first part contains a brief search in the field of clamping, which focuses mainly on the clamping of rotating parts. The next chapter focuses on possible solutions that would meet our requirements. The main components of the chuck are then calculated and designed so that subsequent construction can be performed in any CAD software, which is the content of the next chapter. Finally, some requirements for chuck operation are summarized.
Options of clamping workpieces on machining machines in actual practice
Mikulka, Tomáš ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on options of clamping workpieces on machining machines in actual practice. For specific machining methods are listed kinds of clamping devices and major international and Czech manufacturers. Their products are compared in the next part not only in tabular but also graphically. In this work are also presented findings from a corporate environment.
Machining of thin-walled components on a CNC lathe
Veselský, Radim ; Kolomý, Štěpán (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
This work was focused on the design and production of a clamping device for clamping thin-walled circular workpieces on a CNC machine. Cutting forces were measured using a dynamometer. From these forces the highest power was derived. The minimum clamping force for clamping the workpiece was calculated. Using simulation, the most suitable angle of spacing of the clamping surfaces was determined. Based on this finding, the jaws were designed and manufactured. 5 samples were processed. Three samples were machined in the original jaws, two samples were machined in newly manufactured jaws. Each jaw was clamped with two specified clamping pressures. The machined samples were scanned with an optical scanner and measured in a measuring program. A clamping simulation took place with the determined pressures of both jaws in the simulation program. Conclusions were drawn from the calculations and the verification experiment.

Upínání obrobků u třískového obrábění
Ampapa, Libor
This Bachelors Thesis focuses primarily on clamping techniques of workpieces in machine tools set for cutting operation. As these are generally different in different types of machining, the Thesis presents options for clamping the worked material in various ways of machining. In terms of tooling, working with complex clamping is also described; for example clamping long workpieces of small diameter or clamping on a face plate. In machine tool operations, the stress is put on safety and quality of clamping, which impacts the eventual accurateness of the workpiece. Furthermore, the Thesis presents options for clamping tools when working on lathes, milling machines and CNC machines. In each mentioned clamping machine, there is also a description of its functional principle and its use.
