Data concentrator for data acquisition and wireless modules
Palacký, Tomáš ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with design and construction of a system for repote measurement of air quality in buildings. The first section provides a selection and analysis of used hardware and software components: minicomputer Raspberry Pi, STM32F401 microcontroller, communication module XBee-Pro, CO2 sensor and also communication interfaces IC and USART. The next section includes a design of electrical wiring, circuit board, configuration of the wireless modules and a software implementation for microcontroller and the concentrator.
Controlling of programmable analogue circuit
Sobotka, Josef ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This work deals with the design of the control software for the programmable analog circuit adjustable by means of a computer via the serial interface for the computer, as well as for programming the microcontroller. In addition, analyses the internal structure of programmable analog circuit on which it is proposed to further control, design of printed circuit boards for final programming and test equipment and measurement of the basic parameters of the circuit (transmission and phase frequency characteristics of parts and units).
The remote-control workplace of sensor technology
Knopp, Daniel ; Vaško, Cyril (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is focused on a specific virtual laboratory support, which is designed and created as a device capable of data transferring to display and/or computational unit via serial port. Both the device and common PC are generally a corner stone of each virtual laboratory, which can be also accessed via internet. Technique, significant factors with impact of analog disturbances on digital communication and realization of standalone virtual laboratory are described in detail.
I/O Card Controlled by SMS
Bachtík, Martin ; Pavelka, Ondřej (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is design and implementation of a universal device with input-output character. The device detects incitations on few inputs and sets few outputs. The user controls the device via SMS or short multiple dialling. The device interacts with the user via LED diodes, SMS or hort multiple dialing.
Ultrasonic distance measurement
Klich, Michal ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the design and manufacture of a controlling program of equipment for distance measurement using ultrasonic sensors. It focuses on a detailed description of the whole design from the basic properties of the components to the creation of schemes and PCB design. It subsequently describes in detail the development of controlling software of the equipment. The work briefly describes the most important parts of the code. It summarizes all theoretical and practical knowledge gained during the creation of the whole design, it explains the principles of the functions and works of individual parts and it suggests the best possible options of connection of the whole equipment. It also suggests the best possible variants of the entire circuit. The bachelor thesis also describes the microprocesor AVR ATmega8 from the Atmel Corporaton, which controls the entire device, as well as EEPROM memory chip 24LCXXX, SRF05 ultrasonic sensor and communication with the PC via USB using a microchip FT230XS-R.
Design of measurement unit for analysis of surface materials properties
Kratochvíl, Robert ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with the application of laser beams for examination of material properties. The properties being examined are quality of surface finish and transmissivity of materials in the optical portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. A measuring device containing laser diodes as a source of laser beam and photodiodes for evaluation of examined phenomena serves for examination of both properties. Conversion of the signal to digital quantity and its further processing take place in a microcontroller. The data is then sent via a serial bus and a converter to a computer, where it may be saved in a user program and where the user can work with them later. The thesis contains results of reflectivity measurement of a set of metal samples with different surface finish. Transmissivity measurement was applied on a set of optical filters.
Cyklocomputer with Frequency Meter
Netáhlo, Tomáš ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Hermany, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis deals with design and realization of the cyklocomputer with a measuring frequency of pedaling. The device measures speed, pedaling frequency, heart rate, distance traveled and the current time and date. Measured values are stored in memory and then can be transferred via USB bus to computer. The work includes a description of the magnetic sensors and ECG sensors. The practical part includes the design of hardware and software cyklocomputer.
Tree axes angular speed sensor for aircraft application
Lembard, Tomáš ; Kolka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Biolková, Viera (advisor)
The aim of this project is suggestion and realization of device measuring angular rate with sensors made by MEMS technology. Communication and measured data are transfered to PC via USB.
Multifunction board computer for motorcycles
Netáhlo, Tomáš ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with a design and a realization of multifunction board computer for motorcycles. The goal of the device is measuring speed, rotation speed of engine, temperature of ambient, temperature of engine, temperature in intake including signalization of overvoltage and hightemperature. The device is completed by above standard function such as measuring titl of motorcycle, climbing of route, route recording and data transmission to the computer. The thesis includes a complete solution of hardware and software part of the device.
Emulator of 3.5" diskette drive using RS232 and SD memory card
Sedláček, David ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of the 3,5" floppy drive emulator with ATMEGA microprocessor unit. The emulator has been designed according to the principles of designing electronic devices, there is also object-control application and firmware for a microcontroller, which supports MFM coding.
