Visualization Tool for a Drone Pilot in HoloLens Headset
Komárek, Jakub ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the creation of a modern tool to facilitate the operation of drones, especially in professional sphere. The tool created by the author aims to facilitate the planning routine of the usual missions drones and help in its safe execution. The tool was also created with regard to the legislative restrictions on drone operations and contributes to their correct compliance. The author has addressed the issue with the help of a client-server application created in an augmented reality environment in HoloLens 2. The assistance in piloting is to be provided by a "heads up display" component that moves along with the drone and displays flight variables around it along with the video feed from the drone's camera. To facilitate mission planning, a 3D mini-map is implemented that provides information about the planned mission is projected onto the world around the pilot. The thesis is experimental in nature and has to determine the applicability of augmented reality in the professional operation of the drone. The results of the work are evaluated from data collected during extensive user testing, which included Comparison of the existing Litchi application with the developed application in the prepared test environment scenarios. The results showed that the interface is usable and can compete reasonably current conventional solutions. In some aspects the existing interface outperforms.
Gamifikace výuky na VUT
Drobena, Jakub ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Tesařová, Alena (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of an application that utilizes gamification elements to support the education of students at VUT. The application allows both students and teachers to create quiz questions and compete for points and rankings in challenge mode. Students can track their progress, compare it with others, and thereby motivate themselves to achieve better results. Additionally, a system of achievements and rewards is proposed, although it has not yet been implemented, but it represents an opportunity to expand the functionality of this application.
User web pages testing
TRNKOVÁ, Tereza
The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to introduce the reader to the UX design of e-shop websites, with a main focus on User Experience and Usability Testing. The main objective of this thesis is to prove the relevance of UX, i.e., user-friendly web design, in a competitive environment of e-commerce. This is proven by analysing the main functional elements of the largest Czech e-shops. Subsequently, their usability is proven by user testing on these best-performing online stores. This thesis also includes questionnaire data collection from tested users, in which the relevance of each functional element of the e-shop is evaluated. Finally, the essentiality of creating a user-friendly environment (UX) as a tool for competing with competitors is assessed.
Web design of a construction company
Ličman, Jan ; Šimáček, Ondřej (referee) ; Dohnal, Radek (advisor)
This diploma Thesis deals with problematics of web design in civil engineering. Specifically, it focuses on the web design of a projective construction office. The basic concepts relevant to the problematics are defined in the theoretical part of this Thesis. The practical part begins with initial analysis which consists of an opening workshop with a client, a survey and competition research. Based on the analysis findings, target group and project direction are set. Following these steps, the web design is created. It consists of several parts – generation of ideas and possible solutions, information architecture, sketching, prototyping, prototype testing and graphic design itselfs, which is output of this diploma Thesis.
Design, Development and Implementation of Software Application in Corporate Environment
Mrňávek, Dalibor ; Vopalecký, Zbyněk (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The thesis looks at the current state of the company selling its production. It analyses the shortcomings in the current production method and proposes specific solutions, which it describes in detail. The thesis also includes a mapped implementation process where methods for risk analysis and mitigation are applied. The solution is complemented by an economic evaluation and benefit assessment.
