Testing of motor oils
Čtveráček, Martin ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Maršálek, Ondřej (advisor)
Summary and specification of testing combustion engines motor oils are mentioned in this bachelor’s thesis. First chapter describes types of wear and its incidence in combustion engines. The main topic of this thesis is methods of testing motor oils by means of tribotechnical diagnostic tests. Next chapter is about defectoscopic methods and describes its use. The last part of this thesis deals with periods of oil change.
Tribotechnical diagnostics of oils
Pokorný, Ondřej ; Frýza, Josef (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is compile an overview of currently used sensors for real-time oil analysis. The paper contains a record of knowlenge in field of wear and tribotechnical sensors and determines the appropiate behavior of the tribological system for predictive maintenance. In the next part of the thesis are evaluated the introduced sensors and with help of obtained informations is assembled diagnostic for monitoring the state of gearbox of wind power plants.
Stanovení degradace hydraulického oleje
Cupal, Tomáš
This thesis deals with the degradation of hydraulic oil used in the hydraulic circuit of tractor. In the first part of thesis is created a literary overview about hydraulic oils, their distribution, properties and production. The experimental part deals with degradation of hydraulic oil. There is described a process of taking samples which are then measured to demonstrate the important features of the gradual degradation of the oil. These properties are density, viscosity and amount of chemical elements contained in the oil samples. In the last part of thesis the measured results are processed in tables and graphs. The results are further evaluated and accompained by the discussion.

The selected properties mineral and synthetic oils
Vu Tân, Hien ; Pošta, Josef (advisor) ; Pavlů, Jindřich (referee)
The main goal of this thesis is focused on comparing the selected properties of mineral and synthetic oils. For this was used operating monitoring and laboratory experiment and with them was compared properties. At operation was observed oxidation, sulfation, nitration, TAN, TBN and the content of metal elements in the oil. In Laboratory was experimental investigated the effect of increased temperature and change of color , viscosity and lubricity. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the basic of tribology and lubrication engineering, types of lubricants and oil properties and their production and distribution.
Determining of Oil Change Interval of Tractors
Pavlišta, Libor ; Hönig, Vladimír (advisor) ; Mařík, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis was determination of tractor engines oil drain interval. In theoretical chapters is described theoretical background of the field of engines lubrication and issue of use of motor oils in practice. The drain intervals were determined using a tribotechnical diagnosis of collected samples of a motor oil from tractors. The analysis of the samples were processed in a laboratory and the dominant parameters that influence the wear of the oil were detected. On the basis of the application of a trend analysis were determined the reference values of the levels of oil degradation. After taking the evaluation and discussion of the results were defined oil drain intervals for the tractors. At the end there was made an evaluation of the results and operational recommendations. The thesis includes also an economical evaluation.
