Loop Powered Field Instrument with HART Interface
Kunz, Jan ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes design and development of creating field instrument demonstration kit. Kit is capable of measuring multiple sensors such as thermocouples, RTDs, or pressure sensors, analogue sensor simulation is also provided. Sensor’s side is isolated from output, which is composed of 4 - 20 mA current loop and HART interface. Current loop also provides power supply and kit can communicate via HART also when alarm current (3,2 mA) is set. Basic safety features like open wire detection, over and undervoltage protection are also implemented.
Pressure sensor made 3D structure
Hanus, Martin ; Pekárek, Jan (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the points at issue of a 3D structure pressure sensor. The pressure sensor converts pressure into another physical quantity which is easier measure and which is processed subsequently. Usually ways of pressure sensing is for example capacitive, strain-gauge and optical. The 3D structures are constructed through the use of a LTCC technology, which can be laminated to create multi-layer structures, compared to standard high-temperature ceramics. Passive circuit components can be applied onto particular ceramic layers using either thin-layer or thick-layer technology. Practice part of thesis deals with several ways of construction a pressure sensor. First of all capacitive, strain-gauge and optical sensor and possible problems with construction individual sensors above all problems with lamination, cavity or burning

Evaluation of pressure sensor placement into a floor of sewer line with supercritical slope
Štarhová, Marie ; Šafář,, Robert (referee) ; Žoužela, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis investigates an installation of pressure sensor into sewage line bottom with supercritical slope. Original construction for installation of the sensor was unsatisfactory, therefore so called “bottom pocket” was designed. Using this design, the sensor is placed below sewer line bottom level. For investigation, several variants of sensor placement and its coverage were chosen. The aim of this thesis is to find the best sensor placement into the bottom pocket in combination with its coverage, so that figures reported by the sensor are the least possibly determined by Froudé criterium.
