Automotive ventilation system - comparison of an influence of boundary conditions on flow from various types of ventilation outlets
Brdečko, Radim ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Lízal, František (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with a research of the flow in front of three different automotive vents. The velocity field and intensity of the turbulence was measured in detail, using thermoanemometry. After that the same data was measured with PIV method and validation was performed. The difference between achieved data was investigated. The design among the vents was also investigated, because it’s fundamentally affects the air flow. The purpose of this thesis is to obtain data about the velocity field using two methods and their subsequent use to validate numerical simulations, which will be performed in the future. The diploma thesis also contains the calculation of measurement uncertainty.

Measurement of heat transfer coefficient using termoanemometry methods
Dančová, Petra ; Sitek, P. ; Vít, T.
This work deals with a measurement of heat transfer from a heated flat plate on which a synthetic jet impacts perpendicularly. Measurement of a heat transfer coefficient (HTC) is carried out using the hot wire anemometry method with glue film probe Dantec 55M47. The paper brings also results of velocity profiles measurements and turbulence intensity calculations.
Measurement of temperature fluctuations generated by parallel heat sources in a turbulent flow
Antoš, Pavel
Paper deals with the temperature field generated by a system of parallel heated wires placed in the turbulent flow. A variance of temperature fluctuation was evaluated from the thermoanemometry measurement employing a dual probe. Decay of the temperature fluctuations follows power law.
Vliv přechodu z nominálního režimu ke sníženému na změnu pole proudění v NT stupni 210 MW turbíny
Jonáš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Uruba, Václav
HW-CTA measuring method was applied at the investigation of wet steam flow downstream the LP stage of a 210 MW turbine. Time averaged characteristics of flow field and temperature field were determined as well as the phase averaged ones.
