Economic factors influencing suicide rate

This diploma thesis is devoted to the study of suicide in the Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia). This thesis emphasizes the boom stage of the second half of the 1920s and the economic crisis of the first half of the 1930s and the financial crisis after 2008 and the economic boom after 2015. These two stages are important due to classical crises and booms that occurred in the market economy era. The methodology of the diploma thesis is based on selected theoretical concepts that deal with the influence factors have on suicide rates. Their subsequent application to the stages of the mentioned booms and crises in the selected periods shows their relevance for explaining this researched phenomenon in the given country. This work aims to evaluate the current state of research and find the most suitable methods and indicators that will be subjected to empirical testing using the analysis of selected stages in the author's thesis. The theoretical part presents how the topic developed during the 19th and 20th centuries. The analytical part proves the validity of the theoretical concepts; which examine the extent to which there is a connection between the suicide rate and chosen factors in the observed periods. T. G. Masaryk and The Czechoslovak Church

This Master´s work deals with the relation of T. G. Masaryk and The Czechoslovak Church. The goal is to give reasons why Masaryk has never entered the Church despite the Church highly recognized his ideas and was based on many of them. The output of this work is supposed to be mostly the analysis of Masaryk´s texts besides the biographical texts and the written texts dedicated to the Czechoslovak Church. This work can be divided into three main parts. The first part follows Masaryk´s religious development. The second part comprises his opinions on particular religions issues. The third part introduces the basic information about the Czechoslovak Church and the last, fourth handles especially Masaryk´s attitude to the Church.

The article deals with the problem of subjectivism and objectivism in the work of T.G. Masaryk. According to Masaryk the reasonable man advocates critical objectivism and realism. He permits only a limited number of "subjective elements".
The comparison of the TGM presidential elections

The main objective of the thesis is to compare presidential elections of the first Czechoslovak President T.G.Masaryk between 1918 and 1934. The paper deals with the particular elections, their process and impact on the political development of the First Republic. The first chapter is focused on the history of the creation of the Czechoslovak Republic and the presidential office in the new state. The second chapter depicts the political course of events and the dispute on the founding democratic concept of the state during the election in 1920 and the critical one in 1927. The latter part of the thesis is dedicated to the problem of Masaryk's successor and to the presidential election in 1934 when Czechoslovakia appeared on the brink of the democratic crisis of the 1930s.
