SLICE Seismic lithospheric investigation of Central Europe
Tyto údaje pak zprostředkovaně poskytnou informace o strukturních vlastnostech měřeného prostředí až do oblasti svrchního pláště. Je popsáno propojení refrakčních experimentů ALP 2002 a SUDETES 2003 na našem území.

Reconciliation Prayer in West Bohemia
HAKLOVÁ, Marie
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find the impulses which led to the creation the Taize Community and which could be regarded as an inspiration for the present situation in the area of West Bohemia. The theoretical part focuses on the history of the Taize Community, the way of praying in the spirit of reconciliation and on its ecumenical dimension. This part also deals with social and spiritual connections between the French and the Czech post-war period and their influence on the further development of society. The practical part of the thesis records memoirs of the beginnings of this prayer in Prague, Pilsen and in smaller towns and villages in West Bohemia. The results of the recordings describe the basic differences between possibilities in a town and a village, and between the homely atmosphere in a family and the large prayer meetings. Further, the results approach the question of how the laics can be involved in this prayer and where do they belong in its organization. In the bachelor thesis, unstructured interviews and text content analysis were used for the research work.
Analysis of Fertility and Natality During and After Second World War
Saifrtová, Barbora ; Miskolczi, Martina (advisor) ; Krebs, Vojtěch (referee)
This thesis aims to analyse fertility and natality in Czech countries during and after the Second world war. It introduces historical background, overview of natality policies and analysis of basic demographic indicators (fertility, natality, mortality, life expectancy, marriage rate and average age of mother at birth) in the period of 1930 - 1955. The analysis shows that Czech population did not behave standardly during the war. Since Czech men did not participate in the war and young people often married to avoid working in Germany, increasing natality during the occupation is typical for Czech countries. The consequence of high marriage rate was high fertility, which has a year delay to marriage rate. The part of this thesis compares teritories of Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia (only Czech population) and Sudetenland (occupied frontier regions, mainly German population). Marriage rate, natality and rate of nature increase were higher in Sudetenland only till 1941. Since that, natality was higher in the protectorate. High decrease of natality in Sudetenland was caused by German men leaving to war.

Munich agreement and the Versailles system of international relations
Miňovská, Veronika ; Veselý, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Šauer, Jaroslav (referee)
The thesis deals with the Versailles arrangement of international relations since its establishment at the Paris Peace Conference, through its changes in 20s and 30s, until its final disappearance. I try to argue, in the thesis, that the system's setting served Hitler as a powerful political weapon in negotiations with the Western powers. I seek for deeper clarification of causes leading to the signature of the Munich Agreement and I am also concerned with the policy of appeasement and the system of collective security which failed several times in 30s. Additionally, the thesis has ambition to shed some light on the Sudeten problem, that had been misused in favour of Hitler due to a well-targetted imperial propaganda of uprecedented proportions. Finally, a part of the paper is also devoted to the rise of Nazism in Germany, the circumstances under which it flourished and its later consequences.
