The History of Physical Education and Sport in Písek from 1968 until now

The bachelor thesis deals with a history Physical Education and Sports in Písek from 1968 to present. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part focuses on history of Sokol Písek and other forms of organized Physical Education. The second part deals with the history of particular sports section. The main focus is on tělovýchovná jednota Sokol, tělovýchovná jednota Spartak, Vojenská tělovýchovná jednota and tělovýchovná jednota Jiskra. Some other sports organizations were established independently on organizations mentioned before. These organizations are included in the thesis according to the importance of the development of Sports events. The thesis mainly focuses on the history of the most successful of sports club, such as football, ice hockey, tennis and basketball. The Thesis the result of elaboration of interviews with contemporary witnesses, newspaper articles, chronicles of the town of Písek, chronicles of ice hockey clubs and other printed literature.
The influence of migration of Czech basketball players on their career

Title: The influence of migration of Czech basketball players on their career Objectives: The main aim of this diploma thesis is to find out if a migration of young Czech basketball players is proper for their future career. Methods: The first method, that was used in this work, is a quantitative method - analysing the secondary data. These data were collected from the websites eurobasket.com, cz.basketball, proballers.com and cbf.cz. Before the analyses, there was defined a selection aggregate of players, who are included to the analyses. The selection aggregate contains the players, that leaved Czech Republic during a period of years 2010- 2020, before they had been 25 years old, and their departure was their first one. After the first phase of analysis, there were found out 82 players that this selection aggregate contains. These players were evaluated by three factors of success (a length of their top- level career, a length of their top-level international career and a quality of the leagues, where these players were playing). To the quantitative research was added a qualitative method - semi structured interviews. The respondents were 4 specialists in the topic of Czech basketball players migration.
