Stereometry Presentation Software
Kroupa, Ondřej ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Štancl, Vít (advisor)
The application to promote and support learning of mathematics on a secondary school level in the area of stereometrical effect and in a field of problems illustrated with the help of anaglyphs.
Presentation Software - Solid Geometry, Stereometry
Straka, Tomáš ; Kubíček, Radek (referee) ; Štancl, Vít (advisor)
The main theme of this document is to describe the way of creating presentation software of solid geometry and stereometry. This application tool should help teachers more to explain the subject. Student has opportunity with this application to better understand explained subject. After a long  deliberation and cooperation with teachers from primary school we decided to choose a solid geometry and  stereometry like the aim of this application. Later we added part where I solve the right method used in geometry constructions. In this document is described the process of work proceeding beginning with analysis, over implementation to testing. Important parts of this application are graphic interface, application control tools and the form of object graphical representation.
Stereometric Tasks in Entrance Exams for Secondary Schools and in Graduation Exams
HORÁČKOVÁ, Lenka
The aim of the diploma thesis on the subject of 'Stereometric Tasks in Entrance Exams for Secondary Schools and in Graduation Exams' was to analyse available results of entrance exams and graduation exams of mathematics and to create a GeoGebra book of exercises for practice based on the received information.
Solution of stereometic problems
KŘÍŽOVÁ, Kamila
This diploma thesis follows up the bachelor thesis named Stereometric tasks, where the author solved a collection of problems using parallel projection. The main method in this diploma thesis is the Monge projection. The first part of the thesis includes a standard tasks. Thenafter the author continues with metric tasks and tasks on mutual positions of solids which are solved by Monge projection. The second part of the thesis is a something like a didactic view on stereometry at elementary schools. It focuses on spacial tasks in entrance examinations, on the ability of pupils to solve them and on didactic aids and means that help to develop the spatial imagination of pupils.
Solving stereometric problems in GeoGebra
HORÁČKOVÁ, Lenka
The aim of the bachelor's thesis on the subject of 'Solving stereometric problems in GeoGebra' was to create a collection of own solved examples from stereometry from the curriculum in the range from primary school, through secondary school to university training of mathematics teachers. The GeoGebra program is a support tool for this bachelor's thesis. The work focuses mainly on the curriculum of primary and secondary schools, partly also on the curriculum at universities. The work focuses mainly on square figures in the scope of the curriculum at primary and secondary schools and partly also at universities.
Anaglyphs and their application in teaching stereometry
Matěková, Radka ; Surynková, Petra (advisor) ; Šarounová, Alena (referee)
My bachelor thesis Anaglyphs and their application in teaching stereometry deals with anaglyphs and their creation. It gives information about linear perspective, which is necessary for the creation of anaglyphs. The terms of linear perspective are explained as well as the methods we can use in constructions of this projection. The thesis is mainly devoted to anaglyphs and their creation by the tools of descriptive geometry - central projection and especially linear perspective. Types of anaglyphs, drawing of anaglyphs and the possibility of constructing anaglyphs by software are mentioned. The third chapter deals with stereometry and it uses anaglyphs to support the spatial imagination. There are two versions of the third chapter - each one uses different types of anaglyphs to show the same problems of stereometry. 3D red cyan glasses are enclosed to the thesis as well as a CD containing both versions of the thesis and two files showing the creation of anaglyphs. The thesis is meant to be used by teachers and students in teaching and studying stereometry.
The Development of Geometrical Imagination Through Games
Charvátová, Lenka
The diploma thesis deals with the development of geometrical imagination of the fifth grade students of the grammar school through games. The goal we want to achieve is to find out the level of students' geometrical imagination and through aimed activities to develop them and finally, to find out what is their relationship to mathematics and geometry like. This work is divided into three parts. The theoretical part deals with description and clarifies the basic key terms from the geometrical imagination. The practical part contains several exercises made up by the author of this work, which are supposed to develop student's geometrical imagination. In the third part, the research, we try to answer the questions of this work by means of tests and questionnaires implied before and after the aimed activities in order to describe the level of students' geometrical imagination and their relationship to mathematics and geometry.
Using Sketchup to develop spatial inteligency of lower secondary school pupils.
MACOURKOVÁ, Renata
This thesis is aimed on the improvement of the spatial thinking with the use of a computer programme SketchUp. In the theoretical part I focus on a brief characteristic of the programme SketchUp, definitions of the spatial thinking, its development, use, appearance in RVP ZV and in the textbooks for primary school and its improvement. Main parts of the thesis are several exercises, which I created, and their purpose is to improve the spatial thinking. All of the exercises are realized in the programme SketchUp. The thesis contains methodological comments, aims and solutions of the particular exercises.
