Design of Digitally Controlled Switching Power Supply for Aircraft Position Light System with LED Technology

In the beginning, this bachelor thesis introduces the issues of position lights, and above all, their power supply methods. Then a short analysis of switching sources is made. Where the reader will be introduced to the operating modes of resources (CCM and DCM). Then a few basic topologies are briefly presented, from which three will be selected for design and further processing. Finally, a proposal for a solution to the presented problem is made in the form of two switching sources with different topologies. After the design, a solution took place, where individual schemes and circuits were designed, which were assembled, and basic measurements were carried out on them to verify functionality.

In the theoretically part we met the standartds of properties and application commercially avaible sources as well as of principle pulse (switch-mode) sources and circuit realization. In practically part is suggestion of circuit design and realization of source for electric fence, enebling becked up power 230 VAC / 12 VDC. The source have to contain control circuit for reliable function.
