Female Body in the Sokol Movement

The theme of my bachelor's thesis is women's body in Sokol organization. I focus on the inclusion of women in the Sokol and the creation of women's unions. I also describe the discourse into which the female Sokol body enters, what meanings are generated through the dual concept of the body, and how the Sokol women's social body has transformed over the years. I apply this theoretical part in the second part of the thesis by analysing the specific performance of Sokol women and analysing the development of the Sokol women's social body between 1869 and 1938.
