Integration of Foreigners in Czech Republic and Europe Abstract This thesis deals with the topic of social integration of foreigners in the context of the legal regulations of the Czech Republic and the European Union. The thesis aims to present the relevant legal norms and subject them to a thorough analysis, enabling the reader to understand the issue in its entirety. The thesis is divided into two main chapters: the social integration of foreigners according to EU legislation and the social integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic. The first chapter, devoted to the examined area within the framework of European legislation, initially focuses on Directive 2004/38/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, which provides EU citizens and their family members with the right to move and reside freely within the territory of the Member States. This part is followed by a subsection that introduces the reader to social security coordination at the EU level and its basic principles. The first chapter concludes with EU legislation on the integration of third-country nationals. The second chapter is devoted to Czech national legislation.
