Center of water skiing Soběslav

The thesis is focused of proposal and procesing of project documentation Center for waterskiing. The proposed object is located in the western part of the town Soběslav, in the locality aimed at sports activities. The building is created of facilities for summer sports, especially water skiing and wakeboarding. Further there will be built a playground for ball sports and track on roller skates. This is a three-storey no with a cellar object with a flat roof. The object is based on the foundation reinforced concrete pads a strips. The first floor is bricked of permanent formwork and partly of cast in place structure. The second and third floors is designed of clay blocks POROTHERM. This masonry is insulated with the aid of external contact thermal insulation. In the western part of the building is designed ventilated facade. The floor structures is designed from prestressed reinforced concrete panel SPIROLL and partly from reinforced concrete slabs. The object is divided into several operating units. They are the gym and its facilities, restaurant with kitchen, facilities for employees and the necessary storerooms, coffeehouse, shop with sporting equipment, rental equipment for water skiing and a dressing room serving the outdoor sports. The essential part of the second floor is comprised outdoor terrace. From this terrace is allowed entry to the coffeehouse, restaurants, shops and on the main staircase.

The lodging facilities of Soběslav's townsmen at the turn of 16th and 17th century

This diploma thesis deals with the lodging facilities of Soběslav's townsmen at the turn of 16 th and 17 th century. The register of mentioned facilities in chosen Soběslav's houses had been made at request of Peter Vok of Rosenberg in April 1610. Municipal, guest and townsmen´s houses offered accommodation for 121 people as well as the abilities to build the same number of tables for them and to stable 704 horses, 333 of them inner town and 371 of them in the suburbs. The object of the thesis is analysis of the register. The main aim of analysis is the reconstruction of spatial arrangement of the lodging capacity into the oldest appropriate map. The location of houses of individual lodging provider was found out from the records on domestic markets which were registered in municipal land registers from the beginning of 16 th century until the mid of 17 th century. The amount of the lodging facilities of the lodging providers according to their houses was expressed by cartogram used in five maps. This thesis focuses on the factors which had been influencing the lodging capacity in Soběslav at the turn of 16 th and 17 th century.

Election of town councils in authoritarian towns in South Bohemia at the turn of 17th and 18th century

In my bachelor work I dealt with the topic of elections to town councils in authoritarian towns in Southern Bohemia at the turn od 17th and 18th century. As the example of authoritarian town I chose the town of Sobeslav. The object of my work was reconstruction of process of renovation of town council through preserved sources and also outline a progression of that ritual in watched period. The firts chapter is general summary of working of town self-government in Sobeslav during the early modern period. In another chapter is included the analysis of authoritarian instructions, which were setting out the process of ceremonial of renovations in the towns of domain of Trebon. Sobeslav was also the part of these towns. Third chapter is trying to affect the composition of town councils and the alternations od burgesses in offices of sobeslav´s self-government related with the renovation.

City council election in Soběslav in the first half of 18th century

The theses called Volby do městské rady v Soběslavi v první polovině 18. století is daeling with a city administration in Soběslav of schwarzenberg nobility in the first half of 18th century. In the first part of my theses I introduce a form of the city administration with an emphasis on its most important institutions as a city council, a group of municipal older and a reeve. In the next chapter I describe a way of a councillor election, a group of municipal older election and a reeve election in which the city community participated. I use unique survived lists originated from elections that registered votes. In the third part of my theses I focus on a ceremony of ending activity of city institutions and replacing free places with successors. The Master theses comes from sources placed in the city archive Tábor in the fund of Archive of the city Soběslav and in the archive Třeboň in the fund of Large estate Třeboň.

Traditions of the Baráčník Club in Soběslav

The main target of this diploma thesis is to describe the association Baráčnická obec Vitoraz Soběslav and compare them with other similar associations mainly in sub region Blata. It is done in the context of complete socio-historical situation. The first part deals with movement of associations in the end of 19 and the beginning of 20. century and with the establishment of association "baráčníci" mainly in South Bohemia. The second part describes the association of "baráčníci" in detail in term of their symbolism. Then follows a brief characteristic of the sub region Blata. Next part focuses on activities of "baráčníci" particularly in this area. Attention is given to Soběslavská chasa mladá as potential successors of the association Baráčnická obec Vitoráz Soběslav. The conclusion. summarizes the acquired knowledge and outlines options following development in future.

Plays by Václav Vlček

This diploma thesis deals with Václav Vlček, a Czech prominent author of the second half of the 19th century (1839-1908), and his dramatic production. The introduction contains the information concerning the author himself, his social status, and Czech cultural life of that time. The attention is paid to two most interesting art disputes he was in with the forthcoming young modernist generation. Then we will primarily focus on his dramatic production, his historical tragedies, comedies and psychological plays. We will try to analyse common features in his drama, focusing mainly on his heroines modelled on the basis of Romantic heroines, and the characters of rulers who are depicted as saints and therefore lose all their dramatic nature due to their faultlessness. Next chapter is devoted to a partial reconstruction of the form of Vlček's plays performed in the Prozatímní divadlo (The Prague Provisional Theatre) and the National Theatre. Rare extant material, especially the two stage books and a prompt book, will be used. The chapter also describes criticism of that time, mainly the two most significant critics, Jan Neruda and Josef Durdík. The testaments of Soběslav and the papers of probate proceeding 1455-1550: the possibilities their usage

Práce se zabývá městem Soběslav, které patřilo pánům z Rožmberka a dochoval se v něm soubor testamentů z let 1455-1550. Soubor se skládá celkem z 83 listinných testamentů. Práce nejprve popisuje testamentární praxi (proces vzniku testamentu) a soubor soběslavských testamentů. Samotný výzkum se zabývá nejprve testátory, kteří byli spřízněni nějakým druhem rodinné vazby. Podrobněji se práce zabývá jednou z těchto rodin, rodinou Račmanů. Druhá část výzkumu se věnuje dluhům a pohledávkám uvedených v testamentech. Tato část se zabývá lokalitami, se kterými vedli testátoři své obchody. There was still in existence collection of testaments from years 1455-1550. Collection is comprised of 83 testaments. The work discribes proces sof genesis testaments and collection Soběslav's testaments. First part of study pursue testátore, which they were akin to families. The work detailed discribes of family Račman. Second part of study disciribes by analysis debts and outstandings debt in testaments. Campagin of financing of Anti-Turkish expedition in 1566 from tax registers of royal cities and tribunary town Soběslav

In 1556 the expedition of the Bohemian troops led by William of Rosenberg marched to Hungary to help the fort Sziget besieged by Ottomans. This bachelor thesis focuses on campaign financing from resources of royal cities and tributary town Soběslav. The first chapter discusses history of the conflicts between Habsburgs and Ottoman Empire and historiography focused on Turkish topic. The conclusion of the chapter analyses primary sources helpful for this thesis. The second chapter reports the reconstruction of the whole process of the Anti-Turkish expedition in 1566. Third chapter deals with contributions of individual royal cities to help this expedition. The last chapter analyses the tax register of citizens from Soběslav, which had to show the way this tax was collected from here. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes results of research.

European Union funds and their impact on the cultural life in Soběslav

This work consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part provides basic information of the European Union and the integration of the Czech Republic into the EU. Further it deals with a regional structural policy and explains terms such as operational programs of the EU, NUTS or EU funds. Eventually, the concept of the project, types and phases of the project and what the applicant to do to obtain a grant from the fund are explained. The next practically and specifically oriented part deals with the town of Soběslav. It shows examples of the disbursement of funds for projects in the locality, gathers information about these projects and also brings evaluation of a questionnaire survey, which sought to obtain information about the impact of EU funds on the life in Soběslav, or more precisely, information about the awareness of the population of the city and surroundings of these projects. I have chosen the town of Soběslav, because it is my hometown and I know it, its environs and many local residents very well.
