TITLE: Human characteristics in Serbian Similes AUTHOR: Kristýna Avramovič DEPARTMENT: Department of South Slavic and Balkan Studies SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Helena Stranjik, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This thesis take care about Serbian phraseology, more specifically about research in knowledge and useage picked Serbian phraseologic comparison describing physical and psychological of person. It's bringing theoretical description of phrasems as specifical units of language, that is particularly focused on phraseological comparsion. On base of answer sheets between native speakers living on Serbian area (primary in cities of Cacak and Belgrade) is build the research of knowing and measure of useage of some Serbian phraseologic comparsion, intercepted in Serbian and serbiacroatia phraseologic dictionaries and bases, theirs cultural backgrounds and motivations.
