Solder Joint Quality based on Heating Factor
Kučírek, Martin ; Špinka, Jiří (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
Master’s thesis in the theoretical part analyses the heating factor (Q), which has significant share on quality of a solder joint. The practical part describes the design and production of test PCB and setting temperature profiles, SMD resistors soldering by using BiSn solder paste. Shear tests of SMD solder joints were realised and evaluated including isothermal ageing samples. At the end of master’s thesis solder joints visual aspects and defects were evaluated, measurement thickness of intermetallic compound by not only optical microscope but also SEM, discussion about results and Q was evaluated.
Effect of pH of mixing water on hydration and mechanical properties of cement composites.
Bezděk, Ondřej ; Krátký, Josef (referee) ; Šiler, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on the effect of mixing water pH value on hydration and mechanical properties of cement composites based on portland cement. Source material was CEM I 42,5 R. Hydration process was analyzed by isoperibolic calorimetry, X-ray diffraction analysis and differential thermal analysis. Compressive and flexural strength was examined as mechanical properties. The samples microstructure was observed by scanning electron microscopy. Influence of mixing water pH value on flexural and compressive strength, retardation of hydration and ratio of individual phases was shown.
Deposition of thin metal layers by vacuum magnetron sputtering device
Rogozhnikova, Mariia ; Hylský, Josef (referee) ; Strachala, Dávid (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on description of magnetron sputtering device NP 12 for the thin metal layers forming. In this work is mentioned the issue of metal layers, is given an overview of the methods of their forming and description of magnetron sputtering. Practical part of this thesis describes creation of the NP 12 sputtering device controlling instructions and creation of ten working samples. Copper, aluminum, and titanium layers were sputtered on a glass and silicon substrate bases. An appropriate processing parameters have been defined experimentally. The conclusion of this final work gives analyzes of surface flatness and purity of the sputtered layers using AFM and SEM measurements methods.
Study of properties of cementitious composites with fiber reinforcement from inorganic fibers
Gottwaldová, Aneta ; Novosad, Petr (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with study of properties of cementious composites with fiber reinforcement from glass and basalt inorganic fibers. Diploma thesis includes a theoretical and experimental part. The theoretical part deals with information about glass and basalt fibers, their durability and usage. In the experimental part we monitored properfies of cement composites with basalt and glass fibers. Fibers were exposed to an aggressive environment. The properties of composites with reference fibers were compared with composites with fibers affacted by the aggressive environment. The properties of composites were examined after 28 and 90 days. We monitored compresive strenght, bending tensile strenght, tensile strenght, surface layer strenght and SEM.
