Bachelor thesis deals with the needs and preferences of seniors from the region of South Morava in choosing vacation. The introduction describes the theory regarding the given issue, analyses the current market situation and current preferences and needs of the investigational segment. These data are collected by questionnaire survey on a selected sample of respondents. Result is a concrete suggestions for travel agencies.

The content of this work are primarily a theoretical background definition and conducting an enterprise internal analysis for a subsequent fulfillment of the thesis's main goal, which is a proposal for future development direction of a selected company in the area of information systems application in a form of designing a plan for management information system implementation in the company.
Využití simulačních metod pro podporu procesního řízení v systémech integrovaného managementu

The main subject of this thesis consists of analyse aimed on the mapping, modelling and simulation tools for the use in integrated systems of management. The theoretical part of thesis analyses actual subject situation based on the literature research. This part describes mainly used standards and trends, methodology of process mapping, process evaluation, improoving and optimizing. The practical part of thesis includes a model of real manufacturing process and a simulation of its behaviour in the simulation environment Allcelar 2010. The real system is optimized by the use of economic criteria. The thesis employs methods of simulation, modeling and optimization, which are together with the decision making, systems approach, operations research and queuing systems content of the theoretical part. The goal of the submitted thesis is to apply and check gained knowledge for mapping and analyzing of specific business processes followed by the evaluation of its effectiveness and suggestion of its optimization. The area of business processes and process management is described in the theoretical part. Additionally the methodology of business process modeling and methods of process evaluation and process improvement is also described. The practical part is focused on identification of the company's processes, analysis of the innovative processes and evaluation of their effectiveness. The following optimization of the processes is based on the facts found out by the previous research.
Identifikácia vplyvu vnímania ekonomických subjektov na akciové trhy

Author analyzed the perceptions of economic subjects tracked by stock market indexes and Facebook activity and its impact on stock prices. Contribution of this paper is twofold. In the first place, this paper studies unique data of Facebook activity and proposes the methodology for employment of social networks as a proxy variable which represents the perceptions of news in society. Next contribution is the contextualization of social networks principals to behavioral economy. Overall, author finds the negative impact of Facebook activity on stock prices and positive impact of stock market indexes. Author points the implications of the findings to protection of company's reputation and to investment strategy based on the existence of undervalued stocks. Author also discusses the potential of social networks for prediction of economic variables based on perceptions of economic subjects.
Time management as a persistent problem in companies

This thesis aims mainly about time management skills of specific company's employees. Between main topics belongs ability to plan near and long-term future and skills to manage steps leading to achievement of set goals. The theoretical part talks about different points of view from plenty of authors on problematic of colleague's distraction, social media stealing attention or unexpected electronic communication. This work focus also on reasons of post-poning the tasks, inability of delegating or overloading and shows different advices of au-thors how to deal with problems connected to time management. The practical part starts with short business introduction of the specific company. In empirical part I focus on differ-ences between people of different age, gender and with different level of education. I also identify whether studying and working in the same time play any role in ability to schedule time and fulfilling necessary steps to achieve preset goals in given time framework.
Aplikace Taylorova pravidla v procesu manažerského rozhodování

This work deals with the possibility of using the Taylors rule in the estimation of the development of short-term interest rates in the market. Using the reaction function of CNB made recommendations for businesses in the Czech Republic who can help achieve savings in the use of foreign sources of capital. Savings in the debts is achieved through the choice of different lengths fixed interest rate on the loan, since the knowledge and preferences of the monetary authority's reaction function allows to predict the development of short-term interest rates.
Jazyk a spotřebitelské chování: ekonomické rozhodování u vzorku bilingválních spotřebitelů

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of behavioural economics and focuses on the differences in consumer decision-making which is conditions by the native or foreign language of Czech respondents. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out whether the impact of a foreign language is influenced decision-making. Data were obtained from a survey experiment in which 283 respondents were tested on different types of decision-making problems. Within the diploma thesis, the following methods have been implemented: framing effect (Asian disease, financial crisis), psychological accounting (loss of tickets/money, discount), risk aversion (Holt-Laura test) and ambiguity aversion (Ellsberg's paradox). The effect of a foreign language has been fully manifested in most situations, and it is clear that a foreign language leads to a reduction in heuristic biases in decision-making. Furthermore, it was found that although the respondents are introduced to both questions of one effect, it does not affect the choice of answers in most cases. Exploration focused on the gender and professional status of the respondents was also performed in this work and showed differences in some groups
