Rationalisation of chip management
Mrkvica, Jan ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the rationalization of chip management in a selected manufacturing company. The first part of the thesis analyses the current state of the chip management in the company, which is divided into conventional and non-conventional machining. Then a theoretical analysis is carried out, which focuses on chips, in terms of their origin, types and then an analysis of cutting media. The next theoretical section discusses EDM. In the last theoretical part, an analysis of the possibilities for processing chips is made. In the practical part, three options for rationalisation of chip management are discussed, and the suitability of each of them for the selected enterprise is assessed. The most advantageous of them is then elaborated into an implementation form and a technical – economic evaluation is carried out in which the suitability of the solutions used is assessed. Attention is also paid to the rationalisation of EDM.
Design of rationalization of distribution block production
Kobza, Tomáš ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the proposal of rationalization of the production process of the specified part from the company WT-PRO Czech s.r.o. The introductory part is devoted to the description of the specified part and the analysis of the existing production process, focusing mainly on machining operations. Theoretical part is focused on CAD/CAM systems, machining technologies - milling, drilling and threading, which are essential for the production of the component. It also focuses on tooling materials and chucks. In the practical part, the rationalization of the production process is proposed, which concerns two machining operations. A machining centre is specified for these operations, for which new clamping, new tooling, operating instructions and NC codes have been designed in GibbsCAM. The resulting design is described in the new manufacturing process. Finally, a techno-economic evaluation was carried out.
Proposal for rationalization of production technology of a bronze part
Konůpka, Tomáš ; Kolomý, Štěpán (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is a proposal for rationalization of production technology of part made of bronze material CuSn12. Firstly, the manufactured component and the current state of production, including machine times, are described in detail. In the following part, the manufacturing technologies used are described, including turning, drilling and milling. In the next part, the proposal of the production rationalization and the analysis of the time consumption of each operation is described in detail. The last part of the thesis deals with a technical-economic evaluation, including a comparison of the current and rationalised situation. Finally, the achieved objectives and the contribution of the proposal to practical application are summarized.
Direct Marketing Communication of the Selected Company
Walter, Viliam ; Salajka, Jiří (referee) ; Chlebovský, Vít (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of direct marketing activities of the Sonepar company. It primarily deals with the work of sales representatives and the facts of how time is used in relation to sales activities. It contains a proposal for changes to the management approach of current employees and the approach to the process of training new employees, which will contribute to increasing the effectiveness of Sonepar's sales team.
Rationalisation of manipulation shop
Vičar, Miroslav ; Neužil, Karel (referee) ; Hlavenka, Bohumil (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to reach a distinctive rationalization of the production and assembling plant of Cargo Van Brno company. In the project of new lay-out of the production area were all restrictions given by management of the company and by owner of the property strictly met. Technological changes of the process plan and investments suggestions are determined by the company's strategic plan.
Machining of aluminum alloy component
Lačňák, Martin ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the technology of production of the turbine-type component in Edwards company. It specifically focuses on the part of the turning production, in which in the first part an analysis of the component and the technologicity of its construction is created. Problematic aspects are analysed in terms of material structure and procedure technology. An evaluation of the former and the new supplier is made in terms of rationalization of material structure and their statistical evaluation of rationalization improvement towards keeping to geometrical tolerances. Grooving tools greatly influence the overall machining time during turning. An experiment is made to find out the measured values of the radial forces, the process of chip formation and surface roughness during grooving. The technology of procedure further deals with rationalization of the current machine OKUMA LU25-M and purchase of a new machine Mori Seiki NTX 2000, for which new tool equipment is made in cooperation with Walter company. The final technical-economical evaluation sums up all findings from the research of the given issue. In the discussion, further continuation is suggested for the research in the development and for the continuously controlled component productivity.
Rationalization of production technology body
Dostál, Martin ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
In the introductory part of the thesis, there is a description of machining technologies used in the production of body. This is followed by a detailed analyse of the current technology of production of this component with an emphasis on finding its problematic parts, including a proposal of the options of the rationalization. After the methods of rationalization assesment, a new technological process was developed and the alternative tools were proposed. Considerable time and money savings were achieved by this rationalization. In the discussion section, there were designed some options of solving problems arising during the installation of this rationalization into working.
Production logistics
Olej, Tomáš ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Špinka, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with manufacturing and logistic issues of low voltage cabinets produced by ProCS, s.r.o. company. The aim is to design and evaluate manufacturing and assembling process rationalization proposal. The proposal is based on familiarization with technological process of cabinet's manufacturing. Becoming familiar with manufacturing and assembling process of marshalling and system cabinets made it possible to find an opportunity of rationalization through automation of selected assembling processes. Automation of striping and crimping process is possible through suitable crimping machine. Situation before and after rationalization is economically interpreted and evaluated using break even point analysis. Through mentioned rationalization arrangement it is possible to improve manufacturing flexibility, reduce lead times and cut down manufacturing costs.
Rationalization of Production Processes in the Company
Novakov, Ivan ; Pilka, Jan (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on rationalization of manufacturing processes in company Honeywell Safety Products Partizanske s.r.o.. Main target is to track actual state of processes, which are connected to manufacturing activity, search for reasons of collisions and try to minimize or eliminate them. By designing of multiple optimization solutions, evaluating of data and after applying best-fitted solution can be collision eliminated on purpose. These solutions are exposed to economic analyse and possible share with Company. Economic perspective can help to easier identify which of solution could have bigger impact after implementation to support prosperity of mentioned company.
Rationalization of production end piece
Grandič, Jan ; Götz, Bohuslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This thesis was created in cooperation with company Westfalia. The aim of this work is to analyze the possibility of rationalization of production of end parts for gas tight hoses used in the automotive industry. The thesis includes a study of rationalization of possible production of the second generation of end parts as well as completion of assembly line for the current generation of end parts.
