Feasibility study of Business activities
Pekař, Šimon ; Marciánová, Pavla (referee) ; Pirožek, Petr (advisor)
The main topic of this bachelor's thesis is the preparation of a feasibility study for a new board game, so that the thesis presents the basis for supporting entrepreneurs, or rejecting this plan. The work focused on three parts. The production part, which proposes ideal methods of production, according to product requirements and costs. In the second part, the thesis focuses on the analysis of the external environment using market analysis, target group, PESTLE or Porter's five forces model. The final part evaluates the economic feasibility of the project. Product marketing mix, break-even point analysis, ROI analysis and SWOT analysis are covered here. These analyzes work with information from the analysis of the internal and external environment. Finally, the balance sheet and profit and loss statement are prepared.
Methods of measurement of bone density
Konvalinka, Jan ; Valášek, Jiří (referee) ; Marcián, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on methods for measuring bone density and consequences of changes in bone density on biomechanical properties of bone tissue. In first part are described methods of bone densitometry, especially radiological methods, which are currently most widely used. Second part focuses on measuring bone density from CT images (hog femur bone, healthy and damaged human femur bone and lumbar vertebra) using software ROI Analysis. Third part discusses influence of changes in bone density on strain-stress quantities of trabecular bone. For the assessment was created 2D computational model of hip using FEM.
