This master´s thesis aims to analyze an agricultural holding Pigmal a.s. The analysis of environment of the company shows opportunities, but also threats around the holding. The analysis of internal situation help to determine its strengths ,weaknesses and financial health. These findings are summarized in the SWOT analysis. The conclusion states strategic recommendations for improvement of current situation.

Analysis of the selected company was made on firm which provides SPA treatment. Results of analysis of external enviroment are negative influence of political and economic factors. Most positive impact have technological factors. Best results of the financial analysis reached indicators of liquidity, debt and indicators of bankruptcy models. Low return of assets and turnover time of claim are deficiencies. Current position of company is very good in terms of financial stability.

This master's thesis focuses on the company analysis that is doing a business in the field of agriculture particularly in viniculture. The preamble theoretical part is dedicated to the basic theses of selected analytical methods, which are the SWOT analysis, SLEPTE analysis, Porter's analysis, Fundamentals analysis and Quick test. These methods are applied in the practical part. The last part contains the recommendation to improve the present situation of the company.

Financial anlysis of a corporation

This bachelor thesis deals with financial analysis of a slovak manufacturing corporation that operates on the european market. The work is divided in theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part the reader is given information about methods and principles of financial analysis, especially about horizontal and vertical analysis, differential ratios, economic value added, value and bankruptcy models. These particular methods are applied to the corporation in the practical part, and the company is compared to a relevant competitor. The conclusion summarizes the results to which this work led.
