Experience of Ukrainian registered nurses with migration to the Czech Republic through the Highly Qualified Employee Program and integration

The researched issue of this diploma thesis are the experience of Ukrainian nurses with migration to the Czech healthcare system using the Highly Qualified Employee Program and their following integration. Thesis is also containing description of Migration-related barriers are also described as well as reflection of the factors that have most affected migration. The work is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The practical part presents the knowledge that is necessary to fully understand the experience of Ukrainian nurses. This section describes in detail the processes leading to migration and obtaining recognition of to practice the medical profession. The end section of this part contain relevant findings on migration of nurses in global context. The analytical part is research focused. Data gathering was undertaken with 9 nurses using narrative interviews took. Participant were chosen using the snowball method. The following analysis of the information was performed using grounded theory. The informants' experiences were diverse. It was possible to saw connections between different themes because of formal framework.
