This thesis is concerned with software support the selling process in an engineering company in První brněnská strojírna in Velká Bíteš, a.s which is a traditional manufacturer of high-speed machines for aeronautics and energetics. In detailed analysis is pointed out costumer service, for which the company does not use any system. Conclusion contains a possible design optimization process in terms of CRM system.

Modeling Business Processes in IT

The thesis is focused on processes. Specifically on the creation process maps in IT business. The theoretical part discusses in the beginning what is a project and project management. It also describes the process environment and what the process is. Describes the process management and characteristics of the process. Splits processes according to their importance and compares the functional and procedural approach to management. Specifies how to describe the current state of processes and procedures for their modeling. In the practical part are created process maps that describe the processes in the technical support of the company.
