Postural therapy as a therapy of functional and structural disorders in the thoracic spine
HEŘMÁNKOVÁ, Hana
This bachelor's thesis deals with the treatment of functional and structural disorders in the area of the thoracic spine using postural therapy. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are described theoretical data for the practical part. In the theoretical part there are described the anatomy of the thoracic spine, functional and structural disorders and the possibilities of postural therapy. The practical part of the thesis has the form of a qualitative research. In the end of the work there are described the results of the practical part of the thesis and the success of the therapy is evaluated there.
Respiratory and postural therapy in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
RATHOVÁ, Monika
This bachelor thesis is focused on respiratory and postural therapy in patients that have been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). COPD is a serious inflammatory disease that affects lung tissue. This disease is a combination of chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Characteristic symptoms are cough, shortness of breath and mucus congestion. The theoretical part focuses on respiration and primarily respiration kinesiology. The next main chapter focuses on COPD where prevalence, aetiology and pathophysiology information are stated. After that, COPD, comorbidity and other symptoms are described. This chapter is followed by an extensive chapter focused on respiratory physiotherapy that analyses therapeutic techniques. The practical part consists of described methodology and research. The research is lead in qualitative form. The research file composes of three probands that have been diagnosed with COPD. The therapy was conducted individually as respiratory and postural therapy. In the final phase, original and final kinesiological analyses have been compared.

Title: The Effect of Taping on Postural Stability in Patients with Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction on Posturomed Platform after Rehabilitation using Postural Therapy Aim: Objective evaluation of the effects of kinesiotaping and functional taping on postural stabilization during standing on one foot in patients after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction on the defined unstable Posturomed platform. Methods: The thesis is based on analytical-comparative study. The subjects of the study were patients after ACL reconstruction, who have done fifteen rehabilitation sessions which included postural therapy. The patients were subjected to a "3-step stand on one foot" test to standardize measurement. Three kinds of measurement were applied: without taping, kinesiotaping, and rigid-functional taping taped bilaterally above the m. vastus medialis. Results: The measurements on the Posturomed suggest that the ability of postural stabilization differs on each lower limb in patients after an ACL reconstruction. The application of taping had an effect in the majority of cases, although it was a negative effect on postural stabilization in most kinesiotaped measurements compared to un-taped measurements. The functional taping, on the other hand, had mostly positive reactions unlike with the...
