Historical fiction and post-modernism. View of the older Czech history in the works of Milos Urban

(in English) The aim of this work is especially the post-modern art, its symbols and manifestations. The main area of this research is post-modern literature and effort to concretise post-modern symbols in literature. This work is also trying show the influence of post-modern on historiographical approach. The solution of this work goes from general manifestations of post-modern to particular manifestation in post-modern literature. The main source represented the set of monographs about this theme. The significantly part is about publications of Czech author Milos Urban, and especially the interview of author this thesis with him. On the particular symbols was able to improved, that Milos Urban really writing literature with influence of post-modernism. The post-modern symbols in literature and also the influence of post-modern on historiography were managed to described and instanced.
The Linguostylistic Analysis of Sorokin's Novel "A Day of the Oprichnik" (In Comparison with the Czech Translation)

During the last three decades the work of Vladimir Sorokin has become well-known not only in Russia but also all over the world. His novels have been translated into many world languages. This is especially because of his individual attitude to Russia and its politics, history, and social issues, but also because of his attitude to literature and art. These topics are put into literary styles of post-modernism and conceptualism. In 2009 Czech translation of Sorokin's novel "A Day of the Oprichnik" was released. This novel was chosen for linguostylistic analysis because of its lexical and stylistic profuseness. In this thesis Vladimir Sorokin was put into the literary style. The novel "A Day of the Oprichnik" was briefly described, as well as basic characteristic of Oprichnina was summarized. In the detailed linguostylistic analysis were examined 17 historical terms and features (дьяк, приказ, скоморох, смута, стрелец, челобитная, ярлык, государь, калики перехожие, соборность, столбовой, трактир, домострой, гусляр, лик, трапеза, батя) helping to create Sorokin's fresco of the "new" Russia in the future. Linda Arbanová, PhD. This is a theoretical study investigating the present-day free graphic arts (designs). It describes the main trends, materials and techniques used. The text contains an an- notated selection of several Czech and foreign authors, which illustrates the different mainstreams of contemporary graphic arts. The didactic part of this study contains a research on the topic entitled Relation of Ba- sic-School Students to the Graphic Arts and a suggestion of a didactic approach to Art teaching based on the results of the research. The creative part of the study shows my own works-based on the topic: Time of Natu- re-made with the combined technique of digital print and linocut.
Social work in the context of risks and influences of occultism in a post-modern society

The thesis deals with the issue of risks associated with modern occultism in social work and ethic reflection of dilemmas which may occur in social work in connection with the spiritual dimension of people.The first Chapter presents social work as an independentsphere, it provides a brief overview of the social care history, points out the values on which social work is based, reflects the influence of Christianity on creation of the all-society solidarity and emphasizes importance of social worker personality.The second Chapter further develops the topics of religiosity and spirituality, paying special attention in particular to the institutionalized form of spirituality. drawn. The issues of spirituality which need not have any official form are the subject matter of the third Chapter of the Thesis. The Thesis presents alternative directions associated especially with the New Age movement, which combine elements of different traditions in an unusual way. This Chapter is focused on the risks connected with practicing modern occultism and which one may face in the field of social work as well. It also reflects various dilemmas arising from the context of spirituality and from confrontation of personal values of the worker with those of the organization or the client. The fourth Chapter enriches the Thesis with a pastoral dimension which can be helpful for social workers in the improvement of quality of their work and in prevention of ethical dilemmas.
