Comparative analysis of teacher training systems

High-quality education requires high-quality teachers. Many countries including the Czech Republic struggle with consistent recruitment of good and motivated candidates to choose a career in education. Low percentage of new and young teachers intending to make teaching their lifelong career is also noticeable. This thesis will analyse and evaluate different teacher training approaches, specialist training routes in particular, with regard to their efficiency in acquisition of new applicants and maintenance of motivation throughout a lifelong career in education. This thesis will infer the efficiency of each teacher training system by a comparative analysis of teacher training systems in Finland and The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Pedagogical training by the eyes of their graduates

In my dissertation about the issue Pedagogical preparation met by the graduates I'm dealing with the position and approach of the students to the pedagogical preparation. I'm focusing particularly on what view the students and graduates have at the pregradual preparation. This perspective is alsoextended by the view of young teachers. The dissertation's is mainly the deeper understanding of the process of pedagogical preparation, grasping the problems of young teachers and consequently solve these problems. The main issue of this dissertation are the most frequent troubles students, graduates and young teachers have. For that I'm definig terms as pedagogical preparation, young teacher and teacher's personality in the theoretical part of the dissertation. The theoretical part is the instrument towards the second part, which is the peactical part to make its interpretation easier.
Professional problems of beginning teachers

The thesis is focused on the issue of difficulties which beginning teachers have to cope with. The theoretical part deals with characteristics of the career development of teachers with special emphasis on the stage of beginning teachers. It provides insight into the specific problems of beginning teachers. The practical part was realized through the method of in-depth interviews with selected beginning teachers. The aim of the practical part was to find out which problems beginning teachers face in their first years of teaching. The respondents marked as the main problem teaching subjects in which they have not got a degree, time demands and insufficient pedagogical training in didactic-methodological and diagnostic fields.
