MV Cables Failures and Malfunctions
Holuša, Martin ; Pelikán, Luděk (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to define cable and his accessories and describe defects and fault which can appear on the cable and his accessories. The thesis also divides the cable and his accessories into individual parts, which are describe in more detail. Diagnostic methods that can be used to detect individual faults and monitor their status on individual parts of the cable and cable accessories are also listed. The thesis's practical part focuses on the test of one component of the cable assembly using PD measurement and monitoring its surface temperature.
Methods for localization of pulsed broadband signal source
Machala, Petr ; Hadinec, Michal (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
The topic of this barchelor’s thesis is the analysis of problems regarding localization of partial discharges (PD) and related PD recording, processing and interpretation in time and frequency domain. In majority of cases the occurrence of partial discharges refers to a certain defect in the measured device, therefore in practice (eg large equipment such as oil transformers) it appears to be very useful and economical to determine the exact position, where PDs are formed. To address these complex issues, it is necessary to design the entire measuring chain from PD detection to measured data processing and localization itself. In terms of data processing and PD localization many different localization and detection methods can be applied, some of them are presented in this documentation. These methods are gradually studied, implemented and afterwards tested using the input data of the experiment.
Parsing Based on Automata with Deep Pushdowns
Rusek, David ; Kocman, Radim (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
This paper addresses the issue of design and implementation of syntactic analysis based on the context sensitive languages, respectively, grammars that contains constructs, which isn't possible to analyze with the help of the standard parsers based on the context free grammars. More specifically, this paper deals with the possibility of adding context sensitive support to the classic LL-analysis by replacing the standard pushdown automata (PDA) with deep pushdown automata (DP), which were introduced and published by prof. Alexander Meduna.
Thermoelectric device with Peltier elements
Klír, Tomáš ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Rampl, Ivan (advisor)
This bachelors thesis contains description of particular components of the biological termostat. There is described Thermoelectric effect and Peltier element, witch it use. The text describes the most common methods of temperature measurement. For its management are described basic types of regulators - P, PI, PD, PID and PSD. This work contains the theoretical description and methods for the determination of their parameters. There are also described circuit elements for performance management of Peltier element and microprocessor and a description of control program of the microprocessor.
Power over Ethernet
Hykš, Matěj ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of powering network elements using Power over Ethernet shortly PoE. The work focuses more in detail on the functions of the 802.3af and 802.3at standards, which are described in detail and explains their functionality on specific examples of PD chips. Then it summarizes the measurement methodology used for 3 devices belonging to the PSE category and 4 devices from the PD category. In both cases, it focuses on their analog and digital communication.
