The technology of aerated concrete
Zezulová, Anežka ; Kalina, Lukáš (referee) ; Opravil, Tomáš (advisor)
The technology of aerated concrete is a topic that is permanently studied and developed because of the incessant demand for a building material which ensures relatively high strength at low volume weight. This bachelor’s thesis examines the influence of replacing a part of sand with another silica material – microsilica. The increase of mechanical strength is expected at the same volume weight. Microsilica contents around 98 % of amorphous silicon dioxide with a high specific surface area that is substantially higher than a specific surface area of a ground sand. The reactivity of silicon dioxide increases with a higher specific surface area and also with the creation of a mineral tobermorite, which is the keeper of the strength in autoclaved aerated concrete. Three types of microsilica were chosen to examine the influence of replacing a part of sand with microsilica according to their availability for manufacture: microsilica Sikron and Elkem 971 U, microsilica Grace Davison was tested only marginally. Tests were carried out to determine volume weight, compressive strength, phase composition (by X-Ray diffraction method), and the content of tobermorit (by TG-DTA method).
The technology of aerated concrete
Koutný, Ondřej ; Repka, Martin (referee) ; Opravil, Tomáš (advisor)
Civil engineering is integral part of industry in each developed country. Naturally the construction point does not play the main role here, but also the material of building segments. In last fifty years the new possibility has been discovered against classic brick in form of autoclaved aerated concrete. This material gathers its customers not only due to low weight and easy application with sufficient strength, but particularly due to excellent heat-insulation properties. Contemporary trend in research of aerated concrete points to application of alternative raws, as for example metakaoline, to improve final properties of product by preserving of current technology and price.
Detached Family Residence
Kolegar, Benjamin ; Omishore, Ayodeji (referee) ; Vajkay, František (advisor)
The subject of bachelor's thesis is project of detached family house for a family of four in Hrušovany u Brna. The building has two floors, without basement and with attached garage. The designed material for loadbearing and non-loadbearing constructions is porous concrete blocks. The residential part of the building is covered by gable roof.
Application of foaming agents for the production of lightweight materials
Kramná, Adéla ; Vyšvařil, Martin (referee) ; Rovnaník, Pavel (advisor)
Use of lightweight building materials came to forefront in recent decades. The most commonly used materials are aerated and foam concrete but also other materials such as foamed geopolymer have been introduced. This study examines foaming methods of various lightweight building materials which are analysed and evaluated in terms of properties in hardened state. An effect of foaming agent on the structure of the material and its porosity was examined by image analysis using an optical microscope.
Family residence
Stašová, Darina ; Gintar, Jan (referee) ; Vajkay, František (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is aimed on the solution of construction of "Family residence" in form of project documentation. The house is intended for one family. It is located on a slightly sloping parcel 693/12, cadastral area Lhota za Červeným Kostelecem, Červený Kostelec, Královehradecký district. The house is without basement and has two storeys with garage for two cars. The object is masonry building with gable roof with a slope of 38° and a flat roof with a slope of 1 °.
Family house
Gregor, Tomáš ; Chuchma, Lukáš (referee) ; Kalousek, Miloš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is treated as a documentation of the construction of a family house in the village of Březůvky in site "Garage". The object will be located in a built-up area. The project will respect the requirements of territorial planning documentation. The object is part of the basement. With two residential floors above the ground. A simple saddle roof. The House is designed in the porous concrete from Ytong.
Family House

Bachelor´s thesis titled „Family house“ is processed as documentation for building a house in Zlin. The building is located in the part of Zlín- Štípa. The house is rectangular in shape, has two floors and a partial basement. The building is brick of aerated concrete blocks. The roof is gabled with a slope of 45 °.
Development of different types of fly ash autoclaved aerated concrete
Bednárik, Vít ; Kulísek,, Karel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the current technologies of production and raw materials used in the production of fly ash autoclaved aerated concrete. The choice of suitable materials is an important prerequisite for achieving the desired properties of the finished product. Fly ash autoclaved aerated concrete has become one of the options, how to use fly ash, produced as a secondary raw material in the combustion of coal in heating power plants. This work deals with the comparison the physico - chemical properties of the fly ash in the Czech Republic and the subsequent optimization of the composition of the raw mix for the production of fly ash autoclaved aerated concrete with the maximum use of alternative raw materials.
The design of ETICS using insulation core made of aerated concrete
Machala, David ; Zach,, Jiří (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with theoretical suggestions of contact self-supporting insulation system with an insulating core made of porous concrete. The text prepared knowledge about ETICS system, the properties of porous concrete are thoroughly described, including the history and the most often used technology for production of porous concrete. The conclusion is made by comparison of economical and thermal insulation criteria using optimizing calculation and the applicability criteria of proposed ETICS are stated.
Detached family house with premise
Janíček, Vít ; Sobotka, Jindřich (referee) ; Vajkay, František (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis Detached family house with premise is aimed for the solution of the two storey family house 4+1 with the premise (office) for the ensuring of the business activities of the potential owner. In the thesis is solved masonry building with the mono-pitched roof, founded on the foundation strips. He whole building is designed from the system members Ytong in low-energy standard in accordance with the ČSN 73 0540 – 2. Object is situated on the parcels 73/24 and 73/25 in the village Biskoupky, cadastral area Biskoupky, South Moravian district. Content of the bachelor’s thesis is technical documentation for the building realization according to the public notice no. 499/2006 Coll., about building documentation, especially according to the appendixes no. 1 and 2.
